Definitely a very cool build....tons of attention to detail

We just made this video so our customers could see how to do a no touch wash on a vehicle we ceramic coated.

Definitely took some guts for the owner to pick that color without seeing it on another car. It is definitly unique and stands out.

I def was not a fan at first, but after the paint correction, polishing and ceramic coat it just popped like crazy.

The front facia may have been replaced .. Its definitely a 93 to 97 facia

You're correct, it's a 1996. Not sure why I had 2002 on the paperwork. I lose car guy points for that one...LOL

The black will definitely cover the red, but if you leave the first color on the sides, theres a good possibility you'll see the under lying coating edge under the black. Some are ok with that, we just strive for as close to perfection as we can get, even if it means a little extra effort

I had read that as well, but I've had several Dodge's of different years come in with the exact same "Octane Red" that was used on the 14's. @@aegisarmors Yeah Octane Red. Not High Octane Red. 2 different colors. Exclusive to this day on 100th Anniversary models only. I own one.

@@parrott13 I think there is some confusion, I just used the word "high" in the title description like "high octane". If you watched the very beginning of the video it only says "octane red Durango R/T". I just go with what my customers tell me their paint name is. Appreciate your clarification.

When the lights are on this car, the color really is amazing.

Being completely honest, that's the same thing i thought when I first saw the car inside under poor lighting...why brown? After paint correction and Aegis Armors ceramic coating the color just came to life. Once outside in the sunlight, all the gold popped so hard and it looked amazing.

I remember the builder telling me he had around 70plus hours just doing the rear spoiler. I agree, it looks fantastic.

We really enjoyed working on this one. The color is definitely unique. I wasn't a huge fan at first, but after polishing and ceramic coating were added, the color just pops like crazy in the sun

@@rwright3395 We did the paint correction, polishing, ceramic coating and powder coating for the project. Not sure what the body work and paint cost were, but I do know the complete build was in the high $200K area

@@rwright3395 I wouldn't doubt it. I remember the builder telling me the molding in of the rear duck tail spoiler took 50 hours

LOL, definitely not a daily driver

Well, it is a Pro Touring build made to handle and perform like a late model performance car. Doesn't make much sense to have all that suspension and big brakes and then put a high profile tire that flexs and rolls over on itself...kind of defeats the purpose of this particular build. That being said, it's not for everyone.

The color is definitley unique, while not for everyone, the car does look amazing in person

Agreed, there really isn't a bad color on a 69 Camaro. This one is definitely unique and really pops out in the sun.

Hello, we are a coatings company. On this vehicle we did all the powder caoted parts and also performed paint correction, polishing and application of ceramic coating to the exterior paint

Not sure of the color name. we did the paint correction, polishing, powder coating and ceramic coating. I can tell you the top color is a Toyota color (I remember the builder making a comment about it) and there's a gold flake base color under.

I love this car. Probably my favorite of all the cars that have come thru here for ceramic coating. Know the owner pretty well, car is a beast.

Appreciate the comment. I know the builder spent a LOT of man hours molding that rear spoiler in. Thats what his customer asked for, and he made it happen. At the end of the day, it's all about personalizing your car to the way ytou like it.
