I just ordered this as my first Folio as well! I already own in it another edition, but this is my first Folio so I wanted something that meant a lot to me. Also I couldn't afford the Lovecraft collection. Off topic but you sound like the bad guy from the Resident Evil movies (or more positively the good guy in the Chernobyl miniseries) in a really cool way! You have a great voice for this sort of thing!

Start with Mistborn, Wax and Wayne trilogy is in the distant future of Mistborns world, storm light archive is another world. There's some hints along the way of cross over mystical characters or concepts. Loved this standalone novel in waiting for the white sands illustrated comic style book

I hope they do Phantom of the Opera and H.G. Wells’ The Invisible Man in this style

Do the books have all the words and pages like its not cutting anything form the og ? and ends at the same word like the og?

Just got mine, from Amazon, and encountered the same problem. They really don't know how to safely pack up a book before delivery.

I chose the exact same editions. The Lord of the Rings collection is my absolute favourite. The fact that they all have the minimalistic design on the hardcovers is great as well.

You do read the fine print to find stuff out.

I found these books when I was a kid. My dad had a set of them and I was hooked fast. And that was over twenty years ago now. I am so glad to see others love them as much as I do. 💕

Nothing compares to reading an excellent premium version of your favorite book compared to a cheap paper back.... It truly enhances the reading experience holding leather and silk.

This novel is one of my favorites, and this Folio Society edition is beautiful! Your comment about you living in the streets with your books made me laugh, probably because I can relate. 😂

The original edition had the illustrations taking place in munchkin land colored in a pale light blue. I'm not sure why they're green in this edition.

I have never read any Elric books. Can I start with this volume (since on Amazon India this is the cheapest Elric book at the moment)?

I absolutely love this Folio book. What a gorgeous cover design!! I have a paperback copy of the 1818 version, and after reading it I told my wife that if I had to describe Mary Shelley I would say that she was the early 19th century version of Stephen King! I can certainly understand that, at least for a short time, it came across very badly to the limited public which read it and was one of the reasons why Shelley decided to have it published anonymously.

I’ve struggled to get into Brandon Sanderson. I loved Warbreaker though. The humor in that book was cheesy but entertaining. I just bought Tress of the Emerald Sea. If I like that, I think I will give this one I try as well. Thank you for the video!
