Great review! The stove I'm waiting for to arrive is similar in many ways to this but is a different manufacturer, has no side windows or side vents and doesn't appear to have a spark arrester (looks like I'll have to order that separately). I hope it will arrive soon so I can try it out (regardless of the fact that the heat is still high in Croatia). Anyway, I can't wait to see your stove in use on a camping trip. Greetings from Silver! I have a Caribou camp wood stove. I doesn't have a damper in the pipe or side vents to open/close. It did come with a pipe cleaning wire brush. Did yours come with that?

That should burn out after a season of use. I grew up on a farm and we had wood stoves. Some even made out of old oil drums. Thin metal like that will not withstand much use.
@@harryohrn6051 Maybe if used every day 24/7. Oil drums are not meant for extreme heat and dont last. Stainless steel will last for years if well taken care of. Besides, SS has a high melting point and will not burn out. Cheers.✌💯🇨🇦
Can’t wait to see how it does in a hot tent situation, if you are going to demonstrate that. & Whether it burns for very long and whether it heats the tent in cold weather!

Wondering if the creosote will drip down the pipe, based on how the connections are oriented? Also wondering if a standard piece of wood that you get from a hardware store “snuggle bundle” will fit in this stove?
@@betsygodwin8938 A standard size length will not fit as it is too long. The burn chamber is only 14 inches. I will be testing the stove further once the cooler weather comes. If you burn good dry seasoned hardwood, you will not have any creosote build up. It builds up with wet wood and burning softwood. Cheers.✌💯🇨🇦
