Will Starlink bring the end of the digital divide?
Starlink is Space X’s solution for high-speed satellite internet, connecting remote regions worldwide. In 2024, approximately 33% of the global population have still never been online as traditional internet infrastructure is expensive and difficult to install in hard-to-reach areas.
Digital inclusion improves outcomes for citizens, and as part of the Tomorrow Partnership, TBI brought together Starlink and governments in Rwanda, Malawi, and Zambia, targeting areas historically inaccessible via conventional fibre internet. Find out more here: bit.ly/3IUTG8M

If a wrongly convicted murderer persistently protests their innocence years agter the sentence, do you ignore them due to the fact that the law has proven them criminal? Or do you listen? Don't be closed minded. I know how much Tony Blair is responsible for his actions. I note that George W Bush gets a largely free pass. Iran and the I.R.G.C. The Iranian regime’s increasing emphasis on clericalism since the US-led invasion of Iraq which spread to Syria and beyond has, for the IRI at least, been mostly absorbed by the IRGC. As Xi Jinping assumed the mantle of Beijing the links between the IRGC and the Iranian Supreme leadership became more transparently obvious: “The IRGC is one of the tools for paving the way for the emergence of the Imam of the Age (Mahdi) in the field of a regional and international awakening, and the IRGC Quds Force plays the primary role in this regard.” - department of indoctrination Intervention is of particular significance if it explicitly overlays a military dimension to occultation. Proactive responsibilities specifically designated or assigned to the IRGC and any associative Quds Forces can invariably be linked to the U.S. presence in Iraq. Yet, an 'at government behest' invitation acting as a barrier to the new age 'reappearance' would confirm neither that the “Middle East must change” nor that the 'Middle East can change'. The regime’s appetite for clericalism as a fuel for changing the wider international order should of course not go unnoticed. In the context of a contention that an “awakening ... [is required] in the international arena ... and among [the] people” all and any military responsibilities for achieving these factors as steps toward the reappearance continues to be laid specifically at the feet of the Quds Forces. The doctrinal aspects of the IRGC belief system necessarily includes a pillar of indoctrination. The flourishing of this system as the noughties gave way created opposition from within the more conservative aspects of clericalism yet the radical superstition of the neo-ISIS fights that broke out across the stretches of land from Syria to West Africa gave the I.R. Guard a mainstream role in both funding and networking. Doctrinal 'purification' of the regime's clericalism through policy prescriptive silencing, select ideological elevation, or the ramp-up of extremist-level indoctrination was a prism through which affiliation could be communicated and understanding could be actioned. The Syrian problem and the rise of ISIS, were understood and communicated in the context of 'the reappearance'. Sedition, tyranny, the I.S. caliphate, clergical affiliations and the presence of chaos in the emergence of a new Islamic State necessarily involved the IRGC Quds - why wouldn't they? In paving the way it was: 'the role [of] the IRGC ... in Syria [that was] to lay the international and regional ground for the emergence of the Imam of the Age.' This began the call for volunteers of a new IRGC generation of command known as 'defenders'. The destinations: Iraq and Syria. Further South, Yemeni Houthis represented a 'reform' movement. The confrontation necessary to generate a fight was a challenge for the “rule of Yemen, the Hejaz, and the Persian Gulf states...". 1/3 link DT

Blair was a modernist who believes in Europe. Mad Brexit supporters don’t know their history Why is the Middle East a mess - who created Iraq ? The British What about Palestine ? Who was given the Palestinian Mandate in 1919 by the League of Nations ? Britain. What about The Troubles in Northern Ireland - why is there a Northern Ireland ? Because of Britain. You forgot to mention hostile terrorists in Palestine who are responsible for today's carnage. You conveniently forget to mention the fact that Britain civilised much of the world, used its empire and leadership to defeat Nazi Germany, and ended the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Check your history before spreading anti-British propaganda.
