Yeah......the brass valve on the far left is a 172 H (probably 150 metal); the brass valve second from left is a 2021J sweat end......and I can't make out the other 3 brass valves. Mr. Seder and Mr. Fenster would be proud of me! The 172 H was made (at one time) on M-112 and/or M-116 (Large Goss Machines). 111-112-116-117 were MY babies!!! I tip my hat to my other baby.......M-129 Butterball Machine.....Itatool chucker. Oh and.......Hi Skip!!!!

What are the torque specs for bolting down a 12" series 1800 check valve? Thank you.

I worked there from 2002-2006 ran 2 horizontal milling centers and every machining job I applied for starting was 2-3$ more a hour . Left and was never happier

Wow.........cool........I use to make those bodies on M-123! I believe that part number (of body) is : 10208. If it's a 2" body....then it's 10208-J probably 120 or 150 metal. Nice to see 'em again. Thanks

Lol. Good luck installing that when the valve is in place sideways with insulation and not dropping anything 15’ up in the air. Can you make it with less parts or where they actually lock into place before installing onto the valve.

For the avoidance of doubt / confusion, it would be helpful if you were to post a video showing how to solder copper pipes to a BB2-350 Butterball valve. Presumably, the soldering tailpieces are threaded to the valve body and should therefore be unscrewed prior to application of heat, in order to avoid frying the valve seal? Question: Are they right or left hand threaded and is there a special tool to use if they're exceptionally tight?
