Haunting lyrics.
The feminine guy is putting me to sleep... I can't listen to him talk he's so slow in his thoughts
The transphobic guy is so feminine you can't tell me he won't come out as a trans woman eventually 😂😂😂 transphobia is projection sometimes
I think young cis hetero boys inherently need help
These lessons will stick with her for life!❤❤
Best thing you can do with a foal. My baby is out in my back pasture. He is 27 now. But will walk up on the deck and in the back door if you let him . Only thing we did wrong was let him be to close to us, he is 17.5 hands now and it is real intimidating when he comes running to you, standing there praying he is going to stop before he gets to you. But so far so good. Good luck with your beautiful baby.
The farrier couldn't believe how well that baby behaved the first time I had her hooks trimmed. She was about 6mos old. She acted like it was an every day occurrence.. I didn't know how she'd react myself so I had her mom and the pony done first. The trick and it worked was I'd been picking up her feet and just scraping the soles everyday since she was a week old... only takes a minute and it pays off big time....
ThankYou ThankYou ThankYou 💜♾️🌟✨🐎✨🌟♾️💜
Excellent....most people skimp on the ground work it is the little things that count.....the basics....❤❤
Love your videos. Cool shirt too. Do you sell them?
Yes I do! Here’s the link to my merch store: wilde-child-merchandise.printify.me/products
@@wildechild8816 Haha. Awesomeness. I'll be ordering something next week. Thanks!!
What are the concrete blocks for?
It’s my mounting block for when I hop on 😂 we just moved so I’m still unpacking and finding everything
Love this! Basics!
wow both your horses are sooo shiney
Thank you!!
Great stuff. What are you using for rewards?
In this video, just basic hay pellets. But sometimes I use hay, total equine grain, and that’s really most of what I use 😁
Oh man. Neat channel! Subbed.
Thank you!
I've never had a horse. So, no experience here, but do they truly interact. I see them standing stoic. Like they are waiting. Quiet, listening, disinterested. I know i am comparing to dogs that are so animated. I dont know, really, but in Dog World, you are the leader. It seems much the same in horse world. But horses are prey, and dogs are hunters. I guess my lack of experience shows. I understand how a dog thinks, and it shows in body language
If you get the chance to see horses interacting with each other it's very revealing. Their body language is much more subtle than dogs and they are incredibly sensitive towards each others movements. Whoever can move another horses feet is higher up the heirarchy. This is why ground work is a very important part of horse training because the human is the one moving the horse's feet.
Dogs get their reward from excited play. Horses get their reward from comfort and standing relaxed and safe. Big difference between prey and predator.
What happens when you stop rewarding with treats?? It looks like the only thing keeping him connected is to you is food. He’s neither having fun nor excited - he just wants (probably sugary) food. Next he / she becomes on of those pain in the butt horses that are “always in your pocket”. No thanks!
@@skidaddle32 I teach boundaries. The very first session ever using food reinforcers, I teach the horse they are not allowed to mug me and they have to perform a behavior in order to receive reinforcement. These boundaries are set from day one and enforced every day afterwards. These horses are interacting with me for two reasons - the first being that they associate me with pleasurable stimuli. When they are with me, they receive things they enjoy. And secondly, they are calm, content, and willingly interacting. If they didn’t want to join the session, they could very easily leave as none of them had halters/leads. They chose to stay for the session because they are under the threshold and enjoy what occurs during training. The reinforcers are also not sugary, they are just basic hay pellets
yes everybody has bad days. So glad you are so aware! too often we expect our animal friends to be something they are not.
Wonderfully done. This is the same kind of training I have used in the past for Zebra. You have great patience and ''speak horse''.Keep it up.
Hay? Like seriously, cubes, horse mix, polo mints get the quickest positive reinforcement. Hay ...like wtf. No wonder its taken 3 years.
Why don’t you come work with her? The pleasure is mine, really. Don’t hide behind the keyboard. Or maybe - watch my other videos and realize hay isn’t the only reinforcer I use… you saw a ten minute video. That doesn’t sum up the time that has been put into this horse. If you don’t like it, keep scrolling😁. I don’t need your approval
This is such an awesome take on horse psychlogy. Thanks for clearing this up for me
Ah the horse reminds of when my BPD triggers and I lash out at the people around me…
First time listener I really like your way's I'm 66yrs young Had Horses in my 20s till 33 years old showed western at times , broke a few and enjoyed them every moment & I'm glad to of experienced these beautiful Souls they are very Humbling to our Being. So you go Gril !
Thank you!!
i love your work! lately ive seen so many people esculate situasions, it`s so nice to se you deesculate this and work with your horse.
Thank you!!!
Steve Young is a good trainer. And his video's do show a lot. Nor he he at all abusive to any horse. He is kind and gentle. BUT and this is important. He does have cuts throughout his video's. Nor does everything he does in his video's will work with abused horse. Unless he's working with one and tells you he is. Because some thing's he does with Young horses is just the fact their just untrained. Isn't going to work for an abuse horse. There are a big difference in the two. As a horse owner I'm sure you'll know the difference. And feeding a horse treats is not a bad thing while training them nor does it spoil them. In fact its a great way to encourage a horse and helps them to learn to cooperate actually. The biggest thing in training is your own patience with them . If it takes days or even longer with something it is your trying to do than so be it , it does. Never ever force a horse into what you want it to do because you don't have the patience it takes to work with the horse. Patience is definitely one of the key elements in working with any horse. It takes year's to train a horse to be the kind of horse you want them to be. It's no an over night process. Taming one takes time and patience. And braking a horse , that needs done. Great advice here. The way the Indians did it is really the best way to do it. It never brakes their spirit. Something you really never want to do to any horse. Not doing so you , end up to have a really good relationship with your horse. Making sure your horse is your best friend. You respect it than they will respect you. Thats a two way street. Show you horse love and effection and it will give it back to you. But -be patient - ( that's your main key element in everything) your patience, regardless of what your trying to train them to do. My massage is for the commentary people here . The creator of this channel is doing a pretty good job here . And before anyone comes back at me. Yes I owe horses , even grew up with them all my life. Learned the correct way of training horse as well. Having learned the Indians way of handling them. Being I have Indian in me. I wouldn't want it any other way actually. I trust a Indian horse traner over most cowboy trainer's any day. The cowboys way of braking a horse is horrible. That's a fact. Much respect to this channel.
Thank you for the kind words!
My mare and I had one of those days where she just wanted to do the opposite of what I asked. I remember when she communicated to me and said that I “need to stop taking my anger out on her.” I dropped everything, took the halter off her head and cradled her head in my arms and cried. Work stopped for the day after that. I’m tearing up now as I type this out.
These days happen, but I’m proud of you for knowing when to stop!! Keep up the good work!
Amazing. Thank you.
I know people hate getting suggestions from commentators-but I see many very capable handlers doing this one thing wrong (which perpetuates it)- so I just want to respectfully mention an important tip I learned from a European trainer who was taught by some western greats. (His name is Steve Young) The issue is hand feeding. Among horses you will never see the dominant horse allow another to take feed from them. As we want horses to look at us as the lead-we will have more success taking our example from nature. Horses handled with Steve’s approach lose aggressiveness and fearful behaviors very quickly-and have convinced me. …(they also are very trusting and affectionate) I hope you’ll check him out (he’s on CZcams-Steve Young Horsemanship)❤
Thank you for the input! I will look into this 😁
Cute song and it’s so true ! The video is adorable ❤
You need a disclaimer on this video saying "No old men were (seriosly) hurt in the filming of this video."
Nice video and liked the music.
Hear me out show name: Chaos Magic or Chaos Incarnate. What a cutie congrats to you and Delilah 🎉❤
Very nice. It'll be a memory for a lifetime now. Delilah is being a wonderful mother. Amazing to watch Chaos try to stand and keep fighting it. Man her legs are long. I'm very happy everything turned out good with no medical issues. I was really beginning to worry with how long it seemed to be taking.
Such beautiful , healthy baby! So cute little tale. Delilah she's good mother. Much Love to Delilah and to baby from me . ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So glad I found this channel, that was lovely.
Beautiful. Beautiful scenery, beautiful pictures, just beautiful everything.
Thank you! What a pleasure to watch and listen. ❤
Looks good. I love how much the dogs helped you.
Thank you for this list AND the links. Next payday is gonna spent mostly on all of these books, lmao <3
I have a 16 year old mare that I've owned her whole life and due to injuries and anxiety over pain in her hips, we have a much safer farrier trim under sedation, for everyone ❤️🐎❤️
You are wonderful with your horses and you have a sweet spirit ❤️ you are a pro to me, thank you for your teaching videos. 😊
Sometimes the horse needs to be sedated, but aren't there times the farriers should be sedated?
I do agree there are some farriers who need to take a chill pill. I actually learned to trim my own horses due to a lack of patient farriers
I 100% agree that sedation is sometimes necessary.
Hey, in the video you said wildechild2024 was your JNT discount code. But the description still says 2023. 😊
I see several new moves and poses in this video I'm pretty sure I have never seen before. Do you just make them up, or is there somewhere you go to learn new moves?
Keep your heels out of the horses ribs
Just got to slow down your talk my friend. Good video
Jeweled and Tooled has been an absolute dream to work with. She took my vague idea and turned it into a stunning product.
Very impressive. Interesting how you got Legend from a photo to a drawing.
By the way, I love the lighting on this one.
So how many dogs can I bring up at a time for training?
