I have been roleplaying since San Andreas came out seen the whole rise of GTA5 RP and a lot has changed over the years, toxicity has always been a thing in GTA but last few years it is getting out of control. I believe the biggest reason for it getting out of control is that GTA5RP isnt roleplay centered anymore but it has become a regular game where winning is the main focus of it all. In the early days of GTA5RP all the same ingredients were present in the realm but some precautions were taken to not allow it getting out of control, not all servers had the same rule set up but most populair servers had some very strict rules to keep it roleplay centered, there was always a good mix between Civ and GangRP on the better servers and a high quality of RP was the result of that. No PIxel could have a good influence in moving away from the non rp high toxic gameplay, they are still the most populair rp server in the world. They always had a very high level of roleplay on their server but last few years it also became more toxic and less roleplay centered. Something has to change to make GTA5RP less toxic and if the most populair servers dont make a change then the level of toxicity will go up and the quality of RP will drop even further.
