He has a Seneca XT new for 2023 I think. F600 factory 4x4. With factory 2” lift. Took it out stock and got stuck immediately. He shipped it to a company in Texas that re-geared. It did an another 2 inches of lift and 43 inch tires with a super single conversion. No problems anymore Stay tuned. He got it back a day before we went on that trip so we will be doing a dedicated video to his rig with past video when he was coming up.

Was at montauk for July 4th weekend .was real nice. But almost not worth it with the traffic

We usually day trip Smith’s. Anything longer than a 40 weekend we go to Montauk. Anything shorter and you’re right it’s not worth the battle.

My rig is heavy. But don’t forget that most items on here were replaced stock items. I may have added a lot but not at much as it seems. However I did get customs springs for my weight and I upgraded to F550 brakes

​@@SavageTrailsis the axle on these capable if that extra added weight? I am looking into a weldtec lift as i am too low and need about 400lbs more capacity.

Should be good on the rear axle. I’ve checked every ID tag on it and even went to a few axel rearing shops and no one can fully identify it. We know it’s either 70 HD or 80. From what I’m told it’s. Which case I am right there. That’s also why I went with the hybrid, all-terrain mud train tires When I went over the scales ordering my springs and having a nice safety margin I didn’t like the numbers on the AT. These Toyo RT trails gave me just enough without going to a mud train.

Thanks for reaching out! So far very very happy with the 7.3 gasser. I was always a mopar guy and last setup was a ram 2500 6.4 hemi towing a 8500lbs travel trailer. Give of the motorhome is more and the 7.3 pulls WAY better. I flat tow our jeep gladiator and been up and down the east coast in the mountains. I’ll have it floored on long pulls but it never looses speed. So far on any highway it will do 65-70 and hold at the worst. Our c class has one of the highest tow ratings at 7500. It will do that with no problems. My rig is super heavy with the mods and I haven’t regeared yet after going up in tire size and still does great. Both of my friend went super c for more towing (freightliner and f600 chassis) but are 4x4 and go on the beach with me but both of them had to work way way harder to get it to work off-road then I did not to mention price. Depends on priorities and budget. Pros and cons.

Thank you so much! Actually main reason we started the channel. When I was in the planning stage and wait list for my conversion I was looking everywhere for real world 4x4 c class stuff. Yeah, we mainly built it for the beach. But we have don’t some rough roads, curb jumps and such. Probably not as your thinking but it’s holding up very well. We have our issues but they all do. Next summer we are heading west to Moab and will be doing some exploring then as well as some BLM land exploration. We will see how she does! Thanks again so much for reaching out!

Sorry to hear. Just the kinda capped on top there (snap) on top of the caulk. Just be very careful with the paint. Heat is your friend.

I think I kept the same length the screws I just went with a thicker screw gave it better bite, and less chance of breaking in the future. I also sprung for stainless.

I cut in a Tee and valve under the sink in the kitchen. That way when we go camping in the winter I can turn water off to the outside Thanks!

That’s actually my buddies. I’m the guy who did the rescuing. lol. I have a baby C. He has the super c. My other buddy has the middle C class that you see at the end. lol Not sure if you seen any other video, but I just did a video I think last week of me forgetting to put it in four-wheel-drive and having to do a recovery using my leveling jacks! It does work great! Thanks for the reply!

lol. Yeah my buddy and I bought them same place and same time. Got a great deal on a multi camper deal. We bought these motorhomes with the intent on making them 4 x 4 years ago on the beach. He was going to go the standard mechanical route, but he would’ve been a little too tall. we found this method with the hydraulics and seems to be working. we have some fine-tuning but so far so good

Yes! Honestly, it’s crazy what they get away with. The road in terms of cost and the big dogs have the same problems at a much higher price point. Really unbelievable. But for me, it’s worth it. I like tinkering and modifying anyway. Even though sometimes it’s stressful it’s worth those epic times on the road

Yes it is! The screen can be set to high or low on the chassis and I if I recall correctly there is tilt. I do there there is aftermarket market options for a tilt to the side but it is such a big vibrant screen I don’t think it’s needed.

lol. That was the reason we got a great deal on it. They were trying to sell it for months, but nobody could drive stick.

Thanks!!! Absolutely, I always go with get the smallest rig that you’re comfortable with. We’ve downgraded in size twice already and even though we go with a relatively large family, the pros far outweigh the cons. We have a family of four and two dogs and a 32 footer is just about perfect in terms of fitting us all but still being maneuverable. For a couple I would do 26-28ft.

@@SavageTrails Which slide did you go with from DFG? I have the same back compartment and have been wanting to make my 22" Blackstone slide out. Did you go with a custom or something they had on the site

Yes. I called them up and told them I wanted one of their trace slides, but instead of coming out lengthwise I wanted to come out with wise and add the cutting board slight underneath so it was custom from them.
