Probably wondering why I did this lol Basically the new remix is a little superior to the original but there's a horrific amount of hiss on the entire recording and it's really obvious, I basically applied noise reduction to remove most of it (although some might still survive). Enjoy! #beachboys

Figured I'd try and piece these two tracks together since when the early version was recorded it was a whole song with those two pieces then separated into their own songs. The edit is a bit off probably but it definitely helps extend the song. Enjoy! #beachboys
How She Boogalooed It: 2024 Stereo edit

So something I recently noticed about the 2017 stereo mix of Boogalooed is how it switches to mono halfway through the song. There is a reason for this (the organ was added as the mix was being made so it doesn't exist on the tapes) but I decided that I could combine this with the last verse that is in stereo on the two Sunshine Tomorrow box sets. Does it sound odd? Maybe, but it was fun trying...

Winter Symphony: the short edit

A recent discovery, I realized that the backing track was looped to create the two unique sections of the song, one with vocals and one with all the horns. So, for curiosity's sake, I decided to merge the two together to make one short and full piece of music. A simple edit, but one that proved to be a lot of fun. Just in time for winter break as well! Unfortunately none of the tapes I have feature any doodlepad segments. I didn't even know that was a thing Noggin did until I think 2021. So sorry :/

Did you make this with audacity?
I used WeVideo for this. I basically combined clips and since the clips are in stereo and sound really good the work is done on that era. Hence why I call these “edits” rather than “mixes”.
