@@sidplays77 it is roughly working at 60-70% with very rare peaks to 75%. 4080 super would do that at half the price (working at 100%). Msfs is cpu limited and you are on a best cpu money can buy already. That 4090 would make sense only for VR in my opinion…

Hey there thanks for your comment, when you say "can't get near it" what do you get? Are your settings in sim same as mine? Something as simple as having TLOD above 200 will yield completely different results. Also I use Frame generation to boost FPS, make sure you are doing the same.

I have tried everything I can think of. I don’t even have the inibuilds jfk or Heathrow and it’s a stutterfest for me. Do you have multiplayer and live traffic on or just AI traffic. There are so many variables, I am just trying to find the correct variables. Thanks.

Hey there thanks for your comment. Nope I used Shadowplay part of the NVIDIA Geforce experience app to capture the video. I'm not doing any more performance videos at the moment I can't contribute to the channel at the moment due to life commitments but will be back soon! In reference to your question I'm pretty sure the 7800X3D + 4090 will be up to the task but this is just gut feel no science behind it.

@@sidplays77 I completely understand life getting in the way. I pulled the trigger last week on the 7900X3D and built the PC this weekend. We'll see how it goes!

Hey there thank you for watching! I can’t promise any LOD comparisons anytime soon. I’ve taken a break from doing any uploads because work and life getting in the way at the moment but I will be back soon! Terrain LOD is one of the biggest frame killers in the sim, remember at one point this slider was locked at 200 max and an Asobo update increased to 400. So 200 was max settings at one point. I don’t see any difference with the naked eye when this is maxed and there is too much trade off in performance so 150-200 is best for me. Object LOD is taxing on frames but nothing like TLOD and I typically have that setting maxed at 200. Hope this helps thanks for the question…

Hey there thanks for your comment! I switched because after careful research the 7800X3D was the best performing CPU for MSFS coupled with the 4090. My goal when building the rig was simply to get the best performance I could. It’s been 6 months since my build and everyday use has been stellar. I’m so happy with this build and it’s future proof for quite sometime. I’ve done another performance video which is a bit more detailed. Nope not at all......but I don't think CPU speeds have much to do with boot up time. This is more associated with what type and speed of drive you have the operating system installed on. My OS is installed on a dedicated NVME drive, my specs are in the description of the video.

Thank you for your awesome feedback, really appreciate it. I use Shadowplay (part of GeForce Experience) for NVIDIA Graphics card to record the gameplay. I also use Flight Sim Control Replay tool to capture other cinematic shots in combination with the drone cam within the Simulator. Yes I can highly recommend the LEMG scenery, link is in the description of the video. Regarding AFCAD, at the time of typing I'm sure I've seen AI traffic moving around the airport.

Hey thanks for your comment! I use the Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas Flight stick + Throttle. Not cheap but highly recommended! Spent years with the (plastic) Saitek yoke, did the job but if you want precision and quality its gonna hurt your pockets somewhat.

Hello thank you for watching really appreciate it! Two ways, firstly the safety sounds you hear are from the Virtual Ryanair ACARS app, I fly with their Virtual airline. Second way is to download the sounds from a CZcams video using a download converter.

Hey thanks for watching. I’m not a real pilot! I started simming about 10 years ago and it takes a lot of practice, learning reading and watching to get up to speed. Let me tell you it might look difficult but it’s not really, there is a steep learning curve especially if you want to fly the big jets. My advice would be start small in a single engine GA aircraft and work your way up. CZcams is your best friend, tons of videos online to help you along the way.
