I think you should watch Histories and lore season 1 every time you finish a season. The background story is important to understand more, this show can get very confusing, and Histories and lores helps a lot.

Heartbreaking. I hate when people call Ned stupid just for having morals. Ned was in the right. People think he’s dumb by giving Cersei time to get out with her children but that was the right thing to do. Ned was an honorable dude, that doesn’t make him stupid or weak. I’m sure if Ned was able to have been in King’s Landing longer, he would’ve found out just how calculated and awful the Lannisters really were and would have done things much differently. Joffrey and the Lannisters are to blame for Ned’s death. Not Ned being “dumb”. I get Cersei may not have agreed or known what Joffrey’s plans truly were for Ned, but she’s still at fault.
