cold chisels for the win. they also save your flat head screw drivers from becoming destroyed!
He is absolutely right he is no mechanic. One would use specialized sockets to remove stripped lug nuts. You can buy the set or just the one that fits your application. Price is around $15 for one socket, impact wrench rated. Using the right tool takes less time than it does watching this trivial moron
July 2024 and i came across this video as i am sitting with the same issue with my 95 EG ...Stripped mine down even further to the plungers inside ...and now i know just need to change the outer plunger O Ring and it should help...Appreciate the video
How did you create a waterproof install for the ceiling fan in the corrugated roof sheet?
@@dplittle I made wood spacers to match the curve in the corrugated panel and the anchors are only going into the upper curve which doesn't have water flow. You may want to add sealant to the area that the screws penetrate but I have not had an issue with it leaking.
@@AlvinShepherd I'm still confused how you waterproofed the hole around the electrical box to which the fam is attached. Did you bring the box down to the highest point of the roofing material and then somehow divert the water around it? This just seems like it would leave a large hole at the upper side of the electrical box that would need a whole ton of caulking. Or did you leave the electrical box above the roofing and secure the fan to the box through the material? If so, how did you line all the screws up correctly. I just haven't been able to visualize this part of the project.
Hi. Thanks for the video. But I saw it after I resolved my own problem on my '78 Hobie 16. I don't have time to share a video. But if people don't necessarily care about saving the plastic screw stop and just want to get it out, there is another way. First, I sprayed the plastic piece from both sides with WD40. I then heated the tip of a large flat head screwdriver with a cigar lighter (torch). Didn't need to get it red hot. Just hot enough to melt through the plastic a bit. I let it settle in about 1/8" - 1/4" and cool. Then twisted, and it came right out. Although I am replacing the screw stop, it was actually still usable after this procedure. Took 5 minutes. Oh... the rudder assembly was off of the boat, but this would work with the rudder still on the boat. It would just be a tad bit more cumbersome.
What is that flat bar connecting the pylons just behind the dolphin striker?
Maybe you should have pulled the line more to make connecting the front stay to the bridle.
Bravo, Sir. I was not expecting it to be that smooth and easy! Impressive. I would only have liked a little more clarity on what you tied your rope to. I understand now that I see it is the main halyard to your stepping rope through a pulley on your trailer I to the Jib sheet cleats.
Appreciate the video, however it would been much better if you had a buddy filming and we could hear you and see the details
just what I needed, i had the same questions you had, thanks
I used to do it by installing a quick pin on the right side stay, leaving the forstay and left sided attached. It left enough slack to raise the mast slightly off center by myself. I’d then pull the mast up against the two attached stays, hold tension on the right stay and push the pin in! Done. On the water in minutes!
I replaced my igniter before. I can’t remember. Is it supposed to sound like a low boom as it heats during baking? I didn’t think nothing of it until I went to preheat it to cook something, opened the door and there was about a 6” thin flame coming out from underside on left front. Forget that. I turned everything off. Cooked in the air fryer.
Really helpful, where did you get that wire harness at and what did it cost you? Thanks Joe
I just did this repair and my car is still leaking brake fluid out the weephole.
You didn't show us how to sand the cabinet
Mine glows and ignites but flames 1/4 inch
If I am doing a 12 volt system, do I not want the incoming volts to be above a certain amount? Thank you.
If its overcharging your batteries, what will happen and what will that look like? That appears to be what's happening to me, where the battery bank charges suddenly plummeting after installing this thing. But other people rave that make sky blue is one of the durable controllers. so I need to figure out how to still use it but not have it over charge. How long with it overcharging your batteries can you go before its actually doing permanent harm to the batteries?
Very nice. We have all had similar issues. You handled each like a pro. I have an oar tucked in the laces for "shifty/dirty" wind (when I'm solo). That's as good a job as I've seen solo righting (taking the sheets loose is paramount. Watching your tell tales reminds me of the lack of clean wind everywhere I sail. Imagine what heroes we would feel like on a body of water with wind that blew from one direction for 30 minutes. 😂 The only thing better than sailing is teaching someone else to sail.
I relate to this! I did most of my sailing in Colorado and now starting to sail inland Texas. Whenever I visited family in San Diego I rented a getaway on the bay, and it really was a night and day difference!
I am getting the same scam. I never used an Amazon store card. I have reported this to Amazon they are investigating. This is a scam. Don't pay
A lot of Video's on the oven not lighting! BUT why can't I find one about it taking 45 minutes to get up to 350 deg. ?
Frigidaire Galaxy LGGF3043KFR ... Replaced the igniter for the (bottom) bake tube. Noticed the flame length is about 3/8" when the flame length SHOULD be 1" Explain or direct me to a CZcams showing HOW to adjust/increase the flame length, please
I have an Amazon store card and it is now going on 10 months that my bills are incorrect! Items I returned in December literally took multiple phone calls and deep research by Amazon Customer service just to confirm that the item I returned in December what is received by the seller in early January yet I’ve still been showing this huge promo balance for months there after Which means any payments that I was making to my account was still getting paid to the promo items that I actually returned ! I’ve also noticed cases where I returned an item. That was not a promotional balance item, simply charged to the card, take the next billing cycle before it reflected on my account. ! I paid off all of my promo balances over two months ago, and my bill still is reflecting this massive amount that doesn’t even reflect any charges that I’ve made recently I tried to use my Amazon store card even with 5% back to get money back and let me tell you I am done with trying to keep up with it. I have officially removed my Amazon store card as a payment on my Amazon prime account just so I don’t accidentally put an item on their. When I call customer service, I get somebody from another country. I can barely understand that just wants to read off the same stuff that I’m looking at because I have my bill printed right in front of me. I’ve had to call customer service multiple times in the past just to get somebody different but understood what I was trying to tell them because nobody wants to really listen ! I have never had a credit card that just lagged this badly … everything lags! When you return something and you want it back to your original payment that is the Amazon store card I noticed they don’t show me my credit until the next billing cycle. But items that I charged on my regular debit card gets charged back immediately. I think they’re doing this to scam people so that they can get more interest from the credit card user . So, even though they will credit you the credit you in some cases on the next billing cycle to charge you the interest on your account! If you use your Amazon store card just to get the 5% back you better be making a payment on it the day that you actually charged on it ! Other than that, I am starting to go back to the original way that I I did things which was to just charge hi ticket items on my own debit card and just use my own savings as my own temporary loan I would take for my savings to pay for let’s say an iPad upfront and then I would pay myself back over the next 12 months like self financing Versus using my Amazon store card to finance the product ! I’m just done with using my Amazon Store Card and I am so frustrated with how many times I’ve had a call I feel like I’m gonna be stuck paying for this massive amount of money that shouldn’t even be on there And here’s the kicker even Customer Service told me it’s gonna take a few billing cycles for your promo balances that you paid off to actually reflect on your account Go figure! In the meantime, they’re charging, you interest on a large dollar amount that you paid off months ago when you paid off all the promo balances So they’re screwing you multiple ways !
As i've been quoted as saying: You'll always regret "selling your sol".
Your video is dark when inside
I'm wondering if the same O-rings will work for a Del Sol Si model that uses the 4040 prop valve?
Wow, they were kind with the location on that valve. On the accord, it's underneath the master.
Alvin, thx for the video. i'm going to do the same process on my '83. Just want to confirm, you drilled out the old plastic set screw and then cleaned out the threads with the 3/4" tap. and you did that by hand, not using a drill? Any other tips appreciated. thx again. Bobby
You're still a beast tossing it up like that. I nearly broke my back putting it up on my own getting the shrouds caught on everything last week on our '77
Good information …strips must be pressure treated
Great video, thanks! but how do you protect the mast from scratching to the frame?
Great work. I am following you from the Middle East. The reflective body is made of galvanized steel
Same issue here, but I can only see where 2 of the o rings go... Anyone have a picture of where all 3 go?
when i was a little kid i remember some other kids gluing a firecracker to a stick..... thinking because it had the appearance* of a bottle rocket it must function like one....... the concept here brought up some memories
You can get OEM ones.....I think to replace that rubber plug you can use silicone (I think) but you're videoing all over the place😅
Good job 👍
You had me dying when you where all nervous and turning it off. I am the same way everytime I fix something. Especially when it’s something dangerous. Thanks for the tips and the lil laugh!
2023- Synchrony Bank is PRE-CHARGING Late Fees. Example: My billing cycle closed on 12/22/22. I sent a $2100 payment on that same date; my account was in good standing, not over due. On the bill they sent out on 12/24, with a due date of 1/15/2023, there is a $40 LATE FEE dated 1/15/23. When I call to have the late fee removed, the automated answering recording tells me the late fee cannot be refunded, and tells me my account is overdue and they'll put me through to a representative to make a payment. The representative then condescends to me, telling me if I made my payment AFTER the 24th, and BEFORE the 15th, I wouldn't have this problem. If I take money out of savings to zero the balance on this card and never use it again? I will also not have this problem. Scammiest credit company ever. They ought to be ashamed.
As much as you did by hand it would be great to have a hand crank on the machine. Do you think a different needle would of helped? thank you
How did you know that my cabinets were like that? You must be psychic!!!
never will I ever deal with such junk .Do not install one of these .The heat sucks and does not work like they said . I spent $4000 on mine and I wish I would of never seen them . What a joke .
I am having the same issue, right now on my 95 del sol. Does anyone know the name of that bit he used to separate the two halves? I kinda don't want to replace the whole part as well but I certainly don't have the tool to open it and replace the o-rings
It should be whats called security torx bit or a normal torx bit
I've installed several ignitors on mine and with this last one , no gas comes out and I don't recall the ignitor coming on either.
If I understand the oven has no call for heat while the burners on top work fine
@@AlvinShepherd yep
Ovens are pretty simple until electronic controls are involved. If you are talking about a thermostat on your oven it's easy but the same thing controlled by electronic can be hard to be clear. The thermostat sends the power to the ignitor in series with the gas valve.
One I’m servicing is glowing it turns on after like 5 mins of glowing then flames go on for 5 second then off 10 seconds and it will continue to do this.
6 years later and you’re still helping folks out with this video. About the only useful info I could find
Will that much weight push in your brick facing where the lower bracing touches?
I have a stripped lug nut on the stud on my car 2014 Nissan Altima SV the stud is just turning. I took my car to so many shop and not one shop was able to take the stud off I'm really in need of help taking this stripped stud off I'm trying to put a new tire and replace three new studs I need help getting this stud taken off are you in Birmingham Alabama I'll be so happy to get this stud taken off and my tire replaced I took my car back to the tire place I bought the tire from they couldn't remove the stud they were the ones that stripped the stud

Is this the indoor coil or outdoor coil? Does it matter which one is used?
The indoor coil is made to fit the furnace that blows the air through the ductwork inside the house so it is thicker and therefore more condensed in size. They actually sell these they are called water to air heat exchangers but still this is a great way to reuse good coils vs scrapping them for the metal.
