I can’t believe they are both gone . I watched this and it was😭 I used to sit next to John in ear training at Berklee in 1995, no bs… he was a humble guy, but clearly on his way to the top. and that’s an absolute true story no bullshit no reason to lie or brag, but I knew the kid he was from Columbia South Carolina and I believe he was on scholarship but all I know is I saw a play at the Singer songwriters forum at Berklee…with all the fancy stick twirling and I was a fan for life and I miss him, he was a good man. Clearly had a good family to add only hope that Jia someday you can realize how awesome her father was because he truly was a legendary performer. There will never be another John, Blackwell, or prince.
