i felt like i lost my mind for a couple months half way through my last year of highschool, i got a good deal on 2 oz of shrooms and at the same time was taking a break from smoking. it was also during winter when my depression was at its worse. these and multiple other factors lead to the worst, darkest and just loniless time of my life. it made my depression and dissociation so much worse. i didnt know who i was unless i was having atleast 3.5 gram trip, i would trip atleast 3 times a week and heavy trips at that. whenever i was sober i was numb and empty, i wouldnt recognize myself in the mirror or in pictures. i had nothing to my personality, i was so alone and so detached and i just wanted someone to love me. ive never been the same and im still trying to get a grip on reality. its been a couple months and some days are better then others. its really hard to force myself to do things i dont want to or dont have the energy to do. i started smoking again and that helped for some. i think really the thing that brought me back was sitting in the woods for hours just reconnecting with myself and with the sober/stoned reality. ive always struggled with multiple mental illnesses and abusing shrooms like that really brought them to life and made them so much more real and uncomfortable. i always tell everyone to please stop romanticizing psychedelics, do your research and put lots of time in between trips. let yourself fully recover and process the trip before your trip again. be careful and prepare yourself. or youll lose yourself and your reality

I trip one or two times a year (sometimes lsd, sometimes shrooms) and the last few years they’ve given me some major anxiety and a bit of depression afterwards. The only way I can feel the kind of serenity in this video is by being outside in nature. Maybe it’s from trauma during the pandemic and being trapped inside for months on end

I had a similar experience, but much less negative. I was literally on the highest plane or dimension. The Love and light and color filled me so much that I couldn't breathe. I stopped breathing several times. This happened only a few days ago, so it's still very fresh in my mind and soul. It was absolutely beyond words.
