At the beginning you told that the normal route and the ship cleep are about the same "length" timewise, and thats basically true because we're not robots, but it's like 2 seconds faster to cleep not a lot, but for speedrunning, it matters

I think I may have found a potential time-save at the Bandit Coast Barricade that skips having to wait for Hammer to break it down. 3 days ago, I posted to Reddit on r/Fable a clip showing how to use two players to launch yourself over the gate without Hammer having to break it down. I believe it would save time by skipping the wait required for Hammer to catch up.
