That's not the weirdest thing I've seen in this game. My Mage was sick. So, I went with a different party and went to the overworld. I decided to go back into the Inn because I forgot to equip the horse. But as I did, my Mage was immediately cured

I always find the regular jump and bubble method to be easier and controllable. The issue with the spin jump method is that it’s difficult to reverse your direction, which is horrible for levels like Climb to the Beat. Also depending on when you release the bubble determines the height. With releasing it during mid-fall helps with gaining much more while releasing it right before bubble bouncing makes jumps smaller.

Side note, I'm not used to seeing gameplay at normal speed, cuz I always have a button held down to speed everything up, now normal feels too slow

Hey, just a tip, I'd recommend using the Jet Run badge for this. It makes it a lot easier because you only need to use B and Y.
