Electronic Music Jam with Novation Supernova 2, Access Virus Indigo / B, Roland TR8 and TR8s.
A live Electronic Music performance where I used some of the Novation Supernova 2 and Access Virus arpeggiators along with drum sounds form the TR8 and TR8s. This is all freestyle and does not follow a specific structure.

All sounds except drums come from the Supernova 2. I sequenced a couple of the 8 parts along with the drums in Cubase 10.

Most sounds are from supernova 2. The arp sounds are from Sci Prophet VS and the drums are programmed in Groove Agent from Cubase. I hope you enjoy this video.

Ive been trying to buy one of these since it came out. The platinum edition is hard to find. Please let me know if you have any leads on one for sale. I love the sounds. 👍
I wish they made tutorial DVDs for these synths. I own the rack version of that machine and I love it but very perplexing to dig in the manual to find how to save a preset with a certain midi channel and have it load that way every time you turn it on. Nice machine and awesome song you made with it. ;)

You have to record each part separate one by one… unless you have an 8 input sound card and hook it up to all inputs.
Did you used any external reverb here or its internal from Indigo?

The best performance with bad video. 😏 Could you help me to decide what synth to buy on these such you played now styles, like DnB. Virus Indigo is too one of my favorite's synth. It doesn't matter modern model or not, but knob per function is really matter for me. Help me please because of your lot experience😉

I ordered a bontempi master x301. I couldn't find videos anywhere of the x301, but this is a nice video of the x201. It looks similar to the x301. I'm hoping it sounds as cool as yours.

This sounds really good. I love my SN2. I'm literally going through the entire manual from the beginning. I think a person has to to really be able to harness all it's powers!

Subjectively, how do you think the JX10 compares with the Prophet 600 below it? Both economy synths and among the last of their kind.

It sure is. It has that dark character which is nice for psy
Umm yes.. It literally is Psy trance especially Israeli style.. It will work but many VSTS will too.

@@vitorcarvalho5716 Actually I need some recommendations myself.. I haven’t used any in ages I think the stock ones in Logic are ok.. I’ve heard “Cherry Audio” make good and cheap ones, people talk about Serum as a good one good for wavetables.. one things for sure there are plenty to choose from!

I did not realize how good the lead 3 is until watching this. It seems like we get caught up in what we is new but that does not mean they are better
Good point. I owned the Lead 2 for a few years, that thing was a (similar) beast! Reason I sold is cause I ended up hating the keybed. I've looked at all the new synth om the market, but I'm not really impressed by any of them... so I'll probably be on the lookout at for Lead 3, which has a proper Fatar keybed and all the sounds and controls that I've grown to love :)

I had a virus polar Darkstar had to sell it. Played extensively with a C at my local store. And there's something about the C. More weight, cuts better. Don't know. I'll be getting a C. But The Ti offers much more sound sculpting. Great patches! Fantastic!
