As an italian... It feel more like something set in Paris more than Milan... Great opening, but the italian one give more the idea of "a place in the mountain where you want to go back"
I think Milan is better because it's not as popular as Paris which makes it unique and rarely heard. Just more interesting to set stories somewhere else.
