@@nmcben That's not the point. Could be however they are taught saxophone there, the mouthpieces most available, reeds, etc. That's why you have different "schools" of saxophonists. Like a student Joe Allard or Rascher etc. Clown.

Hi naushikaa that's because I'm english and the english system requires the thumbplate screwed down so we can lift the first finger. Check out other english oboists! It's easy to do - but you have to adjust the topplate..

Hi Paul, Vahan was playing a Püchner Model 23 Compact Bassoon. A couple of the students were also playing Püchner's, one a Heckel and the other we believe was a Leitzinger. Hope this helps!
