SOS Medical Foundation helps purchase SimBaby and LUCAS automated chest compressor

The SOS Medical Foundation recently purchased cutting-edge medical simulation equipment, SimBaby and LUCAS, representing a significant leap forward in elevating patient care and enhancing staff preparedness.
The acquisition of SimBaby underscores the SOS Medical Foundation’s commitment to advancing healthcare through innovative training tools.
In addition to SimBaby, the SOS Medical Foundation has secured the LUCAS automated chest compressor, a device designed to deliver consistent high-quality chest compressions during cardiac arrest. The presence of a LUCAS device in the simulation centre guarantees its accessibility for direct patient care, reaffirming the hospital’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cardiac arrest management.
With these state-of-the-art acquisitions, we are actively working to integrate these tools into training programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in patient care. This investment reflects our unwavering commitment to providing our staff with the tools and training needed to deliver exceptional healthcare services to our community.
