stanley meyers patents are all in the patent office. i downloaded them almost 20 years ago. and he had these patents or was in the process of having his patents in other countries. his work on this was an evolution from an earlier scientis andreas puharich or henry puharich. it's real. btw, both of these guys expired under suspicious conditions...just sayin...sadly i don't know if this work with toyota will be available in any meaningful way. something will come up and it will be 'delayed'. or it simply will be too expensive for anybody except the wealthy. making power from a FREE source like water is unacceptalbe. btw, i have puharich patents as well. and others. look them up.

someone took the AC compressor out of a car engine and turned it into IC! very interesting! but, it still will be a 2 stroke design with the inherent inefficiencies regardless of how the pistons are situated. I can see this working really nice for some backpack style power plant, scooter, small AC electricity generator for camping / RV type situations.. very cool

This is not one stroke, at least two: inlet / outlet and compression.

If it requires x2 strokes per combustion cycle, it’s a 2 stroke engine… You can’t change this fundamental fact…

It’s an opposed piston 2 stroke built on the bottom halves of 2 compressors. Sure it may have been scaled up but that’s what it is. It’s going to be expensive to manufacture and therefore more so to buy, and how you gonna put the power to a fly wheel? Gonna have 2 flywheels? Will that little connector shaft break under torque of a hard launch? I suspect it won’t make the power or it’ll self destruct under adverse driving conditions. If it was so great there would already be a production vehicle powered by it.

It's still a reciprocating engine. Like all reciprocating engines, there are inertial effects because the pistons move up, reverse & down, reverse.

Here is a true single cylinder design. A floating piston In a single cylinder, ported on both ends like a two stroke. On start a magnet or an air compressor would pull the piston tight against one cylinder. Once ignition takes place the starter apparatus lets loose and 2 crank sensors pick up the pistons travel igniting the opposite side driving the piston the opposite way. Computer controls mixture to increase decrease compression. Power is harnessed through the exhaust. I came up with that in the amount of time it took to write this.

What stops the piston roller from leaving the track of the ‘wavy component’? Seems that if the combustion doesn’t occur (no fuel or spark), then the piston stays up the bore and the roller leaves the wavy track - then smacks into the roller as the crest comes back around.

OK. Finally, to hear something I have been talking about in many other videos. Nobody explains it like this video. This is correct. This Gas its not really H2, its called Brown Gas. This Gas have been invented many years ago and it can be generated on demand, without the need of a storage tank per say. Only a tank to store water. Excellent. This is not new, what is new, is that Toyota, like the only company that has finally seen the potential. Great. Thanks.
