Die Proportionen und Maße von Skull Länge, Dollenabstand und Höhe folgen so einem gewissen goldenen Schnitt. Gilt auch für Ausnahmetalente wie Herrn Olli Zeidler. Er rudert wunderbar wie aus einem Guß. Allerdings scheinen die Skulls etwas zu kurz für ihn zu sein, was den Netto-Vortrieb verringern könnte. Ein technischer Rückstand kann sich multiplizieren und rächen, so wie bei Michael Kolbe bei dem einfach der Druckverlauf nicht stimmte. Bei Kolbe beobachteten die Ruderkollegen daß er den gesamten Kraftimpuls and den Anfang des Schlages setzte, was strömungsmechanisch unlogisch ist.
