@@oaklandexcelsior7 seen this unit has existed since 2008, but i cant imagine it being changed only 2 years later. eitherway though, 2008 is the furthest i can go back, so i dont know.

Oh yeah, these. The DAB lift wasn't working when I went. I feel like the Classic lift isn't original. If that is the case, trying to think what it could've been before.

I recommend you to travel to Santander and go to Centro Botín,It has a Imem Singing Lift and an Imem Giant lift
And also the Imem Singing lift sings Yes in Spanish if the lift is going up,but if the lift is going down,the lift sings No in Spanish,@Marcs_Vector recorded that Imem lift
I like these mods a lot, especially that indicator. I also really like the drucegrove voice and old Otis doors. Great video!

That levelling is pretty bizarre, just like on a hydraulic lift. Very unusual to see a Gen2 in a Waterstones!

It was broken both times I went in October '22, though then again, it was only around 2 weeks in between the visits. It's strange, this lift is efficient yet inefficient. I do like it, for sure though, it's not like the normal Gen2 ADO you see. It's probably one of the oldest Gen2s with ADO, along with the ones at TKmaxx at Birmingham Bullring.

These lifts have so many different codenames! Univers, Synergy, Isis (True actually). I wonder if there are any others.
Univers is the real name for this lift. Synergy is a much newer model.

They have covered up the indicators on these with paper floor directory’s. I think one of the indicators was having problems but the other one worked fine (you could just about see through it)
The indicator in the left hand one was saying please wait, as it is in this video.

@@oaklandexcelsior7 Oh nice I didn't realise it had become a DEICHMANN, on one of the photos there seems to be stairs still, I can't tell if the upper level is public or staff only though but I'm guessing the lift will still be there either way is the stairs are still there
