Hi Mark, Some fine 4K movies, “Smile” I really enjoyed watching at the cinema & eventually will pick up at some point, I agree with your thoughts the Death Wish version starring Bruce Willis, & the Superman movies the first three are fun superhero classics even though the kids might say they look outdated but not for me 😎

Hi Mark, I didn’t realise I was so far behind in catching up with your vids. think I’d keep hold of “Hero” as it’s a limited edition, “The Haunting” is one I’ve always wanted to check out & has the beautiful Zeta Jones in it, the Zorro movies are a lot of fun & Zeta Jones is stunning in those movies as well 😍, “Daylight” isn’t a Stallone top 10 but I do enjoy that movie. Great stuff buddy 😎

Hi Mark, I’ve always found The Lone Ranger to be a fun film, like you mentioned, it has that old Saturday morning action adventure vibe to it. I got into anime myself through my daughter a few years back, they are worth checking out and the animation is top notch 👌 lovely looking shelves there Mark 👍 Reading the synopsis on the back cover of On The Beach, has peaked my interest, I shall be looking to get myself a copy of that film. Loved Peacemaker, I wonder if they are making more 🤔 coincidentally I picked up Gold a couple of days ago 🧐 The Longest Yard is a brilliant film. Nice one mate, take care👍😃👍

Great pick ups mate 👍🏻 think that shrek set will trade in at cex for around a £5, those charity shop ones are a bargain at 95p. Love when cex have a limited edition for the price of the standard edition 👌🏻 😅

It amazes me that you can pick up ten films for just £1 😮 in a charity shop. When DVD’s first came out I was paying around the £35 per title, I would never have believed you if you’d have said with in 20 years you would find them so cheap (even in a charity shop) it blows my mind. You'll struggle to spend a better quid than that Mark. I found an American double pack bluray The Mask and Dumb and dumber for a quid not long ago. Not my thing really so I sent it off to James.

Hi Mark, I’ve not heard of The Legend Of Hell House 🤔 The Cruel Sea I have and I do enjoy a war film, it’s odd how some people steer clear of black and white movies (I don’t get the reasons why) The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance is brilliant and what an incredible cast. Sometimes the DVD carries more extras than the blu-ray release. As you may know, I enjoy a Bogart movie and you have picked up some solid choices there mate, Public Enemy is another top movie Cagney had great energy on screen, nice one mate, take care👍😃👍

Thats a cracking selection! I have all of those on blu ray now apart from cruel sea, ive never seen liberty valance. My favourites of those are sierra madre (a real classic), little caesar and hell house (although the ending lets it down a bit)

Hi. Well if this is your starting point for getting back in to DVDs, then it’s a great one. Every one of these is well worth seeing. I’m quite a fan of director John Hough and The Legend of Hell House (which I do actually have on blu ray rather than dvd funnily enough) is one of his personal favourites. It’s good, atmospheric fun….Funny also to see The Public Enemy considering I mentioned it in my reply to you on my channel earlier. Hopefully you will have a good time with all of these. Great stuff

Hi Mark, Bruno Ganz’s performance as Adolf Hitler was incredible, not many people can do it was well. Contagion is one of my favourite pandemic movies, seen it many times. I’ve made the same mistake (ordering in foreign films assuming they had an English audio track of subtitles only to be disappointed ☹️) wow £1:50 for the Bourne films 😮 The Baldwin movie is The Shadow (If I’m remembering correctly) great price on Sisu, such a fun watch 👌 The Creator was much better than I was expecting, nice one mate, alway give a thumbs up Mark, take care mate👍😃👍

Das Boot and Downfall are great. I have The Phantom and The Shadow (the Alec Baldwin one) on laserdisc. Too bad about Hokusai, I’ve done that a couple of times and then kicked myself for not looking closely enough at the features. But possibly as it is looking at the life of an artist you may be able to enjoy it visually. I have the Criterion of Antonio Gaudi by the same director Hiroshi Teshigahara, and that is beautifully visual to watch

Excellent steelbooks here Mark! 👌 Small dents on steelbooks is so aggravating but I've collected them for so long that I'm kinda used to it now. Pumpkinhead steelbook isn't available at retail price anymore so that's a great pick up. Cool to see you've got some BB elusives too.

Hi Mark, Hugo is very good, it’s set in Paris in the early 1930’s and features George Méliès who is played by Ben Kingsley, worth a watch mate. I couldn’t see any damage on those steelbooks either Mark 🧐 (aside from the AntMan one) and yeah that wouldn’t have bothered me either. Great titles mate, take care👍😃👍

Hi mate, That Rawhead Rex Steelbook looks lovely. I’m still with the Arrow release I must rewatch it sometime. I use to have the Scream Factory Pumpkinhead steelbook it has great artwork. I sold it when I bought the 4K 😢 it was released around the same time as the Friday the 13th deluxe boxset in 2020.

Poltergeist 2 has a fun antagonist in Kane. It’s a shame part 3 wasn’t as good. I recently watched Needful Things and really enjoyed it.

Hi Mark, "Razorback" another movie that skipped me by several times back in the day & never got around to renting as it always appealed to me back then, the original version of "The Mechanic" one of Charles Bronson"s best & far better than the remake, the UK release deserves so much more. I"ve been thinking about getting the first two "American Ninja" movies, the first movie was a very good Cannon action movie from back in the day. The Scream movies are hit & miss for me, but i am planning to revisit the older ones to tie in with the newer ones which i haven"t seen the last few. Hope all is well Mark.

Hi Mark, I have seen "The Mothman prophecies" i have seen but back in the vhs days, & remember it being okay, but then i"m not a big fan of Richard Gere, a decent creepy modern day horror movie "The Babadook" Gary Busey made to look like Arnie in that cover of "Eye of the tiger" 😮i always prefer him as a bad guy- villain, i hope you still carry on Mark with the channel, i think we all go through the motions but just have fun with it, share your passion talk movies & never feel forced into doing content my friend.

Hi Mark, This movie is one that"s skipped me by many times, but a fair few people in the community have grabbed "The Monster Squad" i do like the catalogue of Kino Lorber in the movies that they release, just a shame we don"t get many special editions from them. This title i might purchase on a possible UK release, thanks for sharing.
