So good to see you back with a new video. The hotel setup is a dream, not what I've run into even close in the past 22yrs as a para. What were you in DC for? Tourism or business? As an older teen in the late 60s, I moved there from Hawaii (great sadness) but the DC area has so many great places to visit & see. I hope you will do a video on your stay in DC and visit.

Good to see a new video from you! I'm actually in a wheelchair as well and I had a visit to DC visiting a brother of mine at Galludet University. We were in an air B+B. It's always interesting when you have to find a way to make your living arrangements work for you. Luckily there was room for me to get around without bumping into everything and make it work.

Why don't they demand treatments for this misfortune of spinal injury, this has killed thousands of paralyzed people????

I've never understood the functional design of the cutout bench seat in the roll-in shower. I find it hard to transfer onto them because the cutout makes it especially challenging to position myself -- my legs (knee height) want to advance forward as I transfer and the cutout wedges them in. I know of not a single para who has this style of bench seat in their home.

So good to see you, it’s been far too long since your last video. Great to see hotel’s stepping up, like this one. Got to meet a dear friend of yours, Bean, in Toronto in February. I was there for a Nero-trauma conference, and Bean was doing CBC press interviews. Ends up Bean is very good friends with the couple I traveled down to Toronto to the conference. We ended up having dinner together that evening with Bean, she’s a lovely person. The funny thing is I passed her in the hall earlier, when I was taking my service dog out to pee, and I said to myself I know her from somewhere. When she came to dinner it dawned on me it was from the Tv show Push, small world we live in. Hope all is well with you.

Thank you for this! Can you please do a video and slowly show how to get into cat cow as a paraplegic? If my hip flexors are tight will they do cat cow?

Never used a shower chair/bench the first...IDK...25 or so years. Now my shoulders are so 'shot' there is no way unless I throw in a couple of boat cushions to help me get out :). Should have done proper strength training and range of motion with my shoulders/arms.

Is the seat height adjustable? Can it be set same height as your bed and commode ? Way way too expensive also... 😎

I'm looking to retire in a year and was looking for something like this to do some cross-country travelling through North America. I need something light enough to safely haul behind my Audi TTS. I tried to look at the company's website, but my computer's security flagged it as a dangerous site. Weird... The only thing missing is some kind of awning to shelter your wheelchair from the rain when you are inside the trailer. (It doesn't look like there is enough room to bring your chair inside.) I would also need some kind of mounting system for my Varna Handcycle, in case I'm stranded in the middle of nowhere and need to make it to the next town. I think the plan for showers would be a bucket of water and a bar of soap, or if you could find a truck stop somewhere. The bigger ones usually have laundry and shower facilities. I hope to camp in BC soon and enjoy the majestic Rocky mountain scenery. Enjoying the video. Keep up the good work. 👍✌

Hey there! I'm a T4 SCI dude from the east coast (NB). I went 25+ years without brakes because I used my everyday chair as my basketball chair and I wanted to keep it light. I can't remember why, but I started using them again about 10 years ago. I rarely use them but they do come in handy sometimes. Discovering slanted floors always seems to occur at the worst times. I like the new chair, but I don't have the balls to order a new chair without COG adjustment, (which would require caster adjustment capability) or a folding adjustable back. Speaking of, I just don't find those fabric backs very comfortable. I know it will add weight, but do you think you'll ever put an aftermarket backrest on? I wanted to check out Society Wheelchairs but it looks like they went out of business. I've always stuck with the single compartment 4" Roho with the incontinence cover. (Never experienced a pressure sore.) I look forward to discovering your other videos. I welcome you to check out my videos as well. I had the molded plastic AFOs .I had L2 L3 fracture so I had use of my upper legs.I had many broken bones including one through my knee.I was told I needed one for my knee but did not get one.Being from the Deep South and dealing with 100+ degrees and high humidity made the Afo a and my lack of sweating in my lower legs unbearable during the summer.I trimmed them down and drilled a lot of holes in them.I started using carbon fiber ones the fit on my shin..The

Oh i see my issue my push rims stick out to far.. Because im a quad i have nobs that stick up from my push rim and the stick out further.. If i took those off i could get in the door but pushing up an incline would be impossible with no hand grip

I'm looking for a set of leg braces but don't know what to look for. In physical therapy I have used something similar to what you have minus the fancy stuff like the bars and thigh straps basically just the boot and used bands to keep in place. I'm a quad what should I look for?

your walking aids are too loose, lengthen the pads, your legs should be straight, your shoes should reach above the ankle.

Mad respect for you...for your power to accept all that you deal with and finding a way. Inspirational ❤. Design flaws on an air seat/cushion for simple occurrences of toileting mishaps is unacceptable. That's the whole point of their demographic.
