I think this is one of the nicest calculators ever made. I got two of the Collector's Edition. One for everyday use, and one in reserve. I already bought two of the Limited Edition back then, but the "reserve calculator" died after a few years just sitting in the box (and no, it wasn't just the battery).

They may be ok for physics, but they are not enough for engineering. We need fx-991 or 570 models. And, avoid the CW models at all costs. Not all the Casio calculators are bad, if you know how to use them properly.

I can conform, that the keyboard is really bad: Triggering or bouncing, if you like. But you can't believe your results. I often also have numbers bouncing, not only functions.

Fab video, as an A level maths teacher I always try to make sure I do the mechanics full justice for my pupils, this will be one idea to get across fully at the start of the course

Thanks for these videos! I have paper 2 on Tuesday and they have really helped with revision.

That whole headache with the ÷ operator is the reason I only use fractions with a number over another. I find it a lot more intuitive. Not that I can't use ÷, but when I do I always use bracketing everywhere to show exactly what I want it to do, which is a pain, but a lot more consistent between calculators. A fraction is a lot faster to type.

My favourite subject of all - stellar evolution. Keith you are a legend. Massive thank you for the videos. Do you think you'll do an A-level astronomy set? I might look into reading it next year.
