@@territorygameofficial large trees, some older trees, but not many just to diversify the environment and not make the environment always feel like I've already been there, some different trees in that aspect can make the immersion greater, some trees located on the ground with flora can also make the environment even more real. Remember this is just a joke, I don't want to give off any bad impressions. But the game is getting amazing I can't wait to start playing again👏👏👏

@@BrasilSurvival yeah I understand the level design is really time consuming and I have been too busy working on the gameplay to be able to improve the map a lot until now. You'll see some huge improvements in the next couple of months now that the base game is stable

@@territorygameofficial I thought you wanted to follow the line of the subsistence game, in which it is very difficult right away, in my opinion every game must be balanced as no one survives, conan exiles, 7 days to die, what really bothered me is dying all over just taking a few steps because I just died and I couldn't run away from them once, I died about 5 times in a row, I still thought about recording the gameplay and showing you but I got so angry that I asked for a refund, I'll buy it again and if I see it again I communicate these absurdities to you, thanks for the answer.

Hi there, you are obviously interested since you took the time to write all of these questions, however yes, I understand the concerns. Yes the market is oversaturated with these games which is why I am trying to do something different. Yes, a lot of things in this game are bread and butter survival, a blend of a lot of survival looter shooters but what I am trying to create is firstly a refined core survival experience with atmosphere and immersion. Secondly, the game will cater to both single and multiplayer gamers by adding some questing and role playing but also opprtunies for great PVP experiences. Is it there yet, definitely not but it is at a point now where players can try it out and give me feedback to improve and help guide the direction of the game. I have a trello board where you can track what is being worked on and what is coming. (Links all in the description). So to answer each of your quesions briefly: What is the draw of this game? Is it PVP focused? (Single or MP, currently only hosted servers but you can PVP. Later will come dedicated servers and purpose built multiplayer maps and game modes.) Do you just build bases and hunt animals? (Currently yes as the store page indicates, build, explore, kill AI, trade with NPCs, basic quests, farming etc.) There are so many games like this on the current market… how is your game different? (It's just better and will be even better in future.) Does not really look like many people are playing it currently… not trying to be rude, just trying to figure out if I would enjoy playing this game after an hour or two. (Yeah growth has been slow but as you can see 92% positive reviews so it can't be too bad. Also I am happy with slow growth as there's less pressure and people asking lots of questions) I really like PVP, (so do I, 2000+ hours in Tarkov) do you have any other weapons other than a bow and a pistol? (Yes, Primitive Bow, P1911, M1982, M1891.) Can you loot real armor or can you only craft cardboard armor? (currently there is only cardboard armor but soon I will add some leather, scrap and military armor it's all on the trello roadmap) These are all things that are not very clear watching your videos, would like to see more… more weapons, can you add attachments to the weapons? (Yes there arew currently some basic attachments but the weapon modding system will be greatly improved in future) Do you have a working armor system with real armor? (the system is there but until better armor is added it's not used) That can actually protect you? Do you have helmets that will protect you from headshots? THere will be yes Do you have snipers? (Mosin but no long range scopes yet) Machine guns? (Yes) Shotguns? (Yes) SMG’s? (Coming) There are tons of games that have all these features, do you? (geez dude) If not than how could it be any fun? Just asking some questions, trying to find the appeal for this game. I suggest buying the game and trying it out. If you really think it's currently not worth the money and can't see any potential in it then you can ask steam for a refund as long as you have played less than 2 hours. If you do like it, I invite you to help me test and improve game as you are obviously a passionate and knowledgable gamers. Cheers, TV

@@territorygameofficial thank you for the detailed response… and the reason I ask a lot of questions before trying, is because I have bought more games like this than I care to admit, and they all start with “we will work to make the game better, and add all these new features… etc…etc…” so I have been burned quite a bit. Last game like this I bought was a game called “End Of Days”, the game released into early access and was literally unplayable, but the videos made the game look fun, so I joined the discord to ask questions, and the devs said they were reworking the game, and it would be a brand new game when they were done, they promised this for over a year and a half, I decided to purchase the game and support them, as I wanted the game to succeed. After a year and a half, after they promised the new version was coming literally every month, they released a statement on steam a few weeks ago saying they were retiring the game… and that was that. I did not really care about the $16 I lost on the game, but the constant lies from the devs… it was so disappointing, so that is why I’m always very skeptical when I see a survival game pop up on steam, I feel it’s just good common sense these days to ask questions, and do a little research before spending money on a game, that is not developed enough to be fun to play, just a large… empty map, with not much to do… no one wants to play a game like that. If I buy a game, I want it to be a game that has been thoroughly developed, with lots of features, and things to do to keep me engaged… not promises of upcoming features that may or may not even see the light of day. I hope you understand, and pray you have great success with this game, I will follow it closely and track the progress for the time being.

@@synastershred2269 yeah no worries dude, I've been ripped off and let down by devs on multiple occasions and I've wasted a lot of money on games that have gone nowhere so I definitely know how frustrating it is. oh one major detail I left out of my response is that this game, as in the PVE aspect of tha game is that there are events in the game that cause you to be attacked by the AI and they will destroy your base. So it's kind of a tower defense survival game, similar to the 7 days to die game mechanic where hordes attack your base and you defend with traps and weapons. currently there are bear traps in the game that you can set around your base. So it's that plus looting and shooting with also the ability to PVP on the same maps. Later on there will be different maps that will be unlocked through a main quest line. The main gist of the story being that you're a soldier left behind enemy lines and you have to escape to safety through multiple maps of differing biomes. oh and there's also going to be side quests involving "visitors" which already do attack you randomly in the game. at night.

@@territorygameofficial you should make this game a looter/extraction style game, similar to Escape From Tarkov, this new genre is going to replace the Battle Royal craze that has been going on for years. If you would work on character customization, more weapons, with a good weapon attachment system, and different size backpacks, different types of medical items, and the animations to go with it… create a base where you start the game, a place to keep your loot you extract with, and gear up before entering into different maps (you understand, you have played Tarkov), create different maps, and make it a PVPVE style game, where you can loot for low and high end gear… but make it your version, use elements of Hunt Showdown, and Vigor…. allow people to gather items to upgrade your base, rather than build bases, 7 days to die can be fun, but there is no PVP, and that hurts the game. These are just suggestions of course, but I have spent a lot of time reading comments on CZcams videos, and listening to what most gamers want… so if you were to change your focus to making a looter/shooter/extraction style game, with lots of weapons,weapon attachments(people want lots of customization options, and things to work for)a proper armor system where the armor broke after taking a certain amount of damage, and helmets(no game does this currently by the way), have different tiers of armor, light, medium, heavy, different size backpacks… bosses to fight that will drop high end gear… with lots of PVP action… you will have a game that people will be very interested in playing, if done right of course, I know that is a lot of work, but this is the style game that people want…. a more casual style Tarkov, with lots of customization. Quests that keep you engaged, and give you something to work towards( like finding items to upgrade your base, looting gear, and having to fight off other players who want your gear,take a close look at the game Vigor, it is a really unique take on Escape From Tarkov). Then create a feature that allows different ways to extract from the map, like for example: There will be different ways to extract, there will be a helicopter, but you have to find a map of where it is going to be, or a boat, but you have to find the key to be able to extract that way, and elevator, but you have to have a keycard… it would be incredible to have a game like this, with all these features, and customization options, this is the kind of game that will allow you to quit your day job, and develop for a living. Change the direction of the game, you have the bare bones, work on adding these features, and announce that this is the direction you plan on taking the game in, and you will build hype for this type game. Currently the game you are trying to make, is not popular, there are tons of them on the market, and people are just not that interested… you need to make a game that people want to play… and you can be at the forefront of this new emerging genre. At least think about it, I have been taking some courses through Udemy, C++, visual scripting, have been learning the Unreal Engine, because I know that no one is going to make the game I want to play, so I hope to eventually make it, very limited time to focus on it at the moment, but hope to spend more time learning game development in the future. Again… consider what I have said, and if you can make a game like this… you will have no trouble getting people to play it. This is the game people want to play, a high risk, reward style game, you extract with your loot, you get to keep it, you die… you loose it all, it is so exciting and immersive, and this is the type of game I want to play… and eventually develop.

@@synastershred2269 yeah man I think we have a lot in common of what type of games we like. The fact is that yes this is the direction the game is going but as someone that has some skills and xp in game dev you would know that it is not easy to make something as complex as tarkov and similar games. Also as an indie dev making thier first game that has only been in EA for 7 months there is just not enough hours in the day to get all of these features in right away. Currently the focus is making a stable base that can be enjoyed as a standalone survival game for those that just want to build, loot, farm (I added game settings so ppl can actually just turn off enemy attacks if they want). I've alrwady got the assets and started the code to have high tier loot areas in the same level that the player can go to and enter an area whcih teleports the player to an enclosed area (underground research bunker, corporate office and spaceship). The idea would be that on a MP server players would run into each other while traversing to and from the high tier loot zones. I think that would be pretty fun. In regards to 7 days to die, I can tell you there is definately PVP on dedi servers it's just that the devs neglected MP and PVP for such a long time so it never improved. and also there is defintiely a lot of people still playing survival builders. If I can cater to both player bases by getting the foundation right now then that will be really good. In regards to transiting to another level/map to do extraction style things brings a whole heap of complications with the inventory system so I'm not sure how viable that is but it's definately something that would be worth spending some time and money investigating... Sounds like you should grab a copy and help me build it, come to discord and I'll give you a key

@@catiaki06 how many are you putting in? at the moment you need to put 5 of each fruit to get 1 seed. I might change it so the planter harvest is reduced but then you can get 1 seed form 1 fruit. what do you think?
