Oh, btw. Wreckfest maxed out made my M4 ipad SMELL warm and burnt my finger on the Apple logo. Even outdoors at 18C degrees... Beware

I’m in MacBook m2 pro and my game doesn’t seem to run as smoothly. I downloaded from the App Store and whenever I go into settings there isn’t an option to change fps what’s going on?😊

MrMacRight!! There's a hidden performance punished gem! *Rush Rally Origins* If I run it maxed out on my 512GB M4 ipad and within litererally few seconds the Apple logo was burning hot to the touch. And yet the game looked faaar below 100fps, perhaps even dipping below 60fps. I lack mesuring equipment/software though... 1940p resolution and everything maxed out causes microstutters. Perhaps its just horrendously optimised, or just extremely GPU heavy. If possible, run it on an M3 Max in native "4K" or an 8K TV if the game cant push it hard enough. 128GB VRAM should suffice ;) Anyway, thought I'd mention it. Since the game is rather cheap for a game that can max out most SoCs :)

Do you have any comparison against the 1tb version, as it has 16gb RAM and 1 extra CPU P-core

i have the apple tv 4k 2nd gen. Am i the only one getting stuttering gameplay, or could it be the settings in retroarch ?? i really though the 2nd gen could easily hand this game?! am i missing something here?

Hey Stewie, thanks for sharing all those new benchmarks! M4 seems to be a quite powerful chip. 35° in graphics mode indicates, that the GPU is far away from its limit. How does this compare to M1 and/or M2? Even when all these chips archive 40 FPS, the M4 should do this far more efficient which leads to a cooler device and less battery loss... also they talked about better heat efficiency overall. Would love to see a comparison if you can do this 🙂 best regards

I am aware that you can adjust the games config file to play at higher settings... but this is not officially supported by the game... it can cause major crashes and inconsistent results due to thermal throttling on a passively cooled device!!
