How it works
Rig up a small Micro Jig with Small Assist Hooks
Slow pitching or fluttering Jig prefured...
20g MajorCraft "Slow Pitch" Jig
Atomic Assist Hooks with a Solid ring added
40m of water
Same as Soft Plastic Fishing
Drift across your fishing ground or spot lock if you have a electric...
Cast a big cast forward away from the boat and let the Jig flutter down threw the water coloum with no tension on the line.
As it gets closer to the bottom give it some small hops then wind it up and repeat the same process...
The Snapper like to hit the Jig as it Floats down on the drop.
Normally Slow Pitch Jigging your feeding the Jig straight down off the side of the boat and trying to adjust the Jig size to have your line straight vertical from the rod all the time and then giving it small hops as you work it threw the water Coloum.
Flea Fishing is opposite the lightest smallest jigs as possible casting and sinking slowly...

If using Braid mate I always use a leader was using around 40lb Braid and 40lb leader in the video... I'm not a fan of tying Braid straight to the tackle especially not in t Light Braid

No mate livies are just on the surface we do drop the boat out of gear if we sound up a few and let them drift down for a minute or so then keep going... Even if Anchored or drifting not using sinkers...
What was the rod rated and what size reel

im from Tampa bay Florida. but the bait looks like a fish here called a leather jack (locally (aka) skip jack. only difference yours doesn't look to have a pair of spines on the belly secreting a milky white venom that burns like a wasp or hornet sting.
Hey mate our baits here we use are called Yakkas (Yellow Tail) and Slimmies which are a small slimmy Mackerel. No venom on ours at all

He mate the wire can't remember the brand but was around 40lb and 12inch long in black... Defenetly give it a crack behind the yak 2 rods be plenty enough around 30m behind

I was worried like if that fish would be alive, like too much time taken to pose with this trophy fish catch, then when it got released and it breathed as bubble came in water, I was relieved, the fish is fine. As long as the caught fish is responsibily released without damage caused to it, all is good, enjoy!!
We take all the care to get the picture and release. The Bass are Pritty hardy and swim away every time. We have never had one die or even seen one floating later on. One tuff fish... 90% of fish we catch are all released bar a few deep sea species that dont release well. There is also edit time in some of our videos were the fish are back in the water and out again... Thanks for the concern as we do our very best to have the rewards of watching them swim away...
Do you use a leader line before your wire trace
Yeah mate around 30lb for spotties and 40lb for Spanish Roughly 40lb wire leader. Between 30 to 50lb braid The bigger the lures the heavier the gear... Most Spotties and Spanish be landed on 30lb to 40lb line without to may issues

That was my mates first day trying I filmed him. We found no need to cast it so hard and get it very low to the water. The sooner it hits the water closest to the boat the further it skips without effort.
