This video isn’t supposed to be a league start but a variation on alt leveling. I enjoy this build enough though, maybe could give some tips from a league start perspective.

Yes and no. It is definetly doable without the uniques. I would say however, that Astral Projector unique ring is sort of the bread and butter for the leveling process. It’s not mandatory but would make a difference.

@@mrmist7366 i plan to play this build in sanctum. Not even finish the campaing and do some heist in order to buy astral, heatshiver and hrimsorrow and go as it is in sanctum. But i don't know if the damage will be ok

Damage should be there! Biggest thing is just monsters getting around the totem AOE without Astral ring. But the skill alone does quite a bit of damage.

I would say out of all the builds I’m currently testing out, I didn’t get good luck on drops/gear. I swapped to ballistas a little too early. I’ve seen the build in its later stages a lot more powerful and strong. Messed up right before kitava and swapped too early. >.> later progress of the build though should be good.

As someone who has done both EA Ele and EA Champ to ubers, you can hit 100m dot DPS on this build with a bit of investment. Usually hit red maps with this build with less than 50c investment in trade league. Quill rain rain will carry you all the way to maps, usually pretty cheap 3-5c close to league start. I agree with Mist though, be careful about switching too soon, especially if you are still getting comfortable with the turret playstyle. But yeah, build pops off in a really fun way the further you go with it, but is also a cheap and powerful league starter :D GL out there!

​@@TheWontonFreak I didn't spend enough time on this comment honestly lol so the damage comes from both ignite dps (which is typically proliferated for clear, ailment + for bossing) and bases off the explosion from EA which is determined by your fuse count. The damage ramps tremendously based on fuse stacks. Previously you could get up to 20, now I think it's 21 because of quality changes on EA. So I apologize, it's not ALL ignite dps, but ignite/fuse burst. Dyadian dawn is a staple belt for this build imo. Would also recommend The Taming ring for budget builds. Sorry for the confusion!

You can switch to ballista as soon as you get it in act 3. Well, I suggest getting shaper of flames first and then switching. But so long as you have that it should already be blasting. There are some mistakes in his setup that are causing problems.

All the items shown in the build are all Unique Items, If you click on the link in the description to see the Path of Building, it will show you all the items and names!

All the items that were used for this build are Unique items, normally if you are playing softcore POE, you can use the trade website : www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction or you can farm for these items, get lucky on some drops, all depends. All these items at this point in the league are going to be pretty cheap to purchase off of other players if you can afford them. If not! These items are not super mandatory for this build however! There might be some minor tweaks to the passive tree, but lets take a look... The Seven-League Step boots, can be replaced by any boot found with movement speed on them. A good normal Paua Ring (bought from Nessa in Act 1) can replace the Perandus Signet, same with the Ancestral Projector! For the amulet, you can to start, use a Paua Amulet (bought from Nessa in Act 1) which increases your mana regen! And for the weapon slot, you can use a scepter bought off of Tarkleigh in Act 1. The shield, you can just throw on another Scepter. To start you want to find weapons/gear with fire damage to help with the Rolling Magma damage, or spell damage! And then transition to any Physical Damage increases when you would swap to Shockwave Totem! If you get lucky during the campaign and get some Chaos Orbs, you can always look on the trade website to see if you could afford any of the upgrades that I was wearing in the video! The Ballista Totem Support gem is mainly just for earlier game DPS, it is not necessary for the rest of build! :)

Correct, you can allocate it if you are having trouble with survivability. It can be a squishy build!
