Because I have a 22" circumference and a low hairline, quite a bit of my bio hair is exposed at the nape. Aww, thanks so much for your kind words!☺ Simmer weighs 4.5 oz. and has a similar density. Keep in mind that Simmer is made with heat friendly synthetic fibers while Charlotte has traditional synthetic (not heat friendly) fibers.💖

Right?!? I think so too. Unfortunately, I don't have Charlotte anymore - I sold her. However, in the video I remarked that she felt light on my head. Also, her weight is listed as 4.16 oz. I would say she's probably light-medium density. Hope this helps!💖

You're so welcome! I would definitely not recommend placing the tape on your bio hair, only on your forehead. You could cut the tape in half lengthwise to create a slimmer piece of tape, if necessary. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!💖

Hi Patti, I'm so sorry to hear that you have been uncomfortable in your wig! If you have already tried the solutions I discussed in my video and you have washed your wig (some people are allergic to the silicone coating on the fibers) and your wig is still itchy, I would suggest seeing a doctor. I have heard that some people are allergic to synthetic fibers. This is something you would need to discuss with your doctor. You might need to wear a human hair wig. I hope you find a solution that works for you!💖

Years ago, when I tried wearing wigs, the hair fibers at my temples would scratch me. This go around, I learned about the wig grip and that has solved my problem.

Thanks so much, Sandy!☺ I'm surprised to hear that about a Belle Tress Lux Collection style! You could try smoothing the permatease a little with a hot comb, since McQueen is made with heat friendly synthetic fibers. Keep in mind that Belle Tress recommends a maximum heat of 350℉ on their HF fibers. Be sure to spray each section with water or a heat protectant prior to applying heat. As you probably know, it's normally not a good idea to pluck or trim the permatease because the wefts can then show through. Good luck, I hope you find a solution that works for you!💖

Hi Danielle, I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with the Haven you purchased. I purchased my Haven with my previous employee discount. I did not receive a commission (unless someone used a discount code I was offering for a short period of time through wigs.com). Sometimes, I buy open box/clearance wigs, but this one was new. Just to be clear, I did not lie in my video - I did not wash or alter Haven prior to filming. My integrity is of utmost importance to me. So why did your Haven look so different? Here are 2 possible explanations. One, there are always some variances from style to style. When I buy multiples of the exact same wig, they are never exactly the same. Two, perhaps your head size is different than mine? I have a 22" circumference. If your head is smaller, the wig will appear longer and fit differently. I suggest watching reviews by a reviewer with a head size similar to yours. Wishing you all the best!💖

Thanks Laurie!☺ I think both Verona and Napoli could probably fit a 23" circumference. Also, neither style has a very short nape, which helps. I recommend reading your retailer's return policy before trying it so that you can return it, if necessary.💖

These caps fit on the larger end of average. I have a 22" circumference and both of these caps fit me very comfortably. I did not have the adjusters extended all the way. Hope this helps!💖

Thanks for your comment, Elizabeth! That would work near the ears but not where the lace meets my hairline, if that makes sense. There's a transition from the lace to my bio hair near the temples that's hard to hide without trimming the lace. I would need to cover that area with fibers. For me, it's easier to blend my bio hair with the wig if I trim the lace first. I do this with my Jon Renau ear-to-ear lace front styles too.💖

Hi Ellie! Normally all I need to do with my lace fronts is to keep them clean and they "melt"/disappear into my skin. Even though you might be able to see it if you look closely, other people rarely notice it. If the lace is visible against your skin, you could try using some face powder to help conceal it. If you still feel that it's too visible, you might want to trim the lace. I don't normally recommend trimming too much because if the lace ends up fraying over time, you want to be able to trim it to remove the fraying portions.
