25 bucks is way too much for this
I've used this thing so much around the house that I think I've definitely gotten it's money's worth. I guess it all depends on how often you would use it
And how about a video on how to sharpen and what size file is needed?
@@sybillestahl8646 Thank you for the feedback. I'll try to include information on how to sharpen and the file size needed for future chainsaw videos. In order to sharpen this blade, you would need to use a 5/32in (4mm) diameter round file on the cutters corners. Then you would sharpen the top plates, side plates, and depth gauge with a flat file. Hopefully this information helps, again, I'll be sure to make note of this with future videos.
@@ToolAds Thanks so much. I'm off to the hardware store to buy a 4mm round file.
Glad I could help! I'm currently working on a video for another chainsaw. Thanks to your feedback, I will be including a segment where I sharpen the chain. That concept can be applied to this chainsaw as well.
I found a video on how to sharpen the chain that doesn't involve a flat file and is a lot simpler. The method you use to sharpen the blade depends on how much time you want to put into it. Here's the video link for sharpening the blade adequately and quickly. Hope this helps! czcams.com/video/63kFcBlKPwY/video.htmlsi=tyjElxyBzNqkMW1w
Kobalt always seems to be the first at making it happen.
@@ProxyFinal Never thought about it but you're right! I know these handheld sprayers have been around for a while but Kobalt is the first "well-known" brand to put their spin on it. It's a great tool!
@@ToolAds first at making it brushless. Probably the only brand I know that is not afraid to make it brushless due to cost and all
@@ProxyFinal That's true. To be honest I think even with a steeper price tag, you still get what you pay for. I've used it multiple times since this video and as long as I make sure to clean after each use, it has not clogged up on me yet. It's definitely a quality build.
I just got one. How much oil should I put on the chain?
I try not to put too much on, that way I'm not wasting oil. A method I use to tell how much oil I put on, is after I apply it, I run the chainsaw. If oil starts flying off the chain, then I probably put too much on. I also try to make sure I oil under the chain, that way the first cut doesn't take all the oil off. Hopefully this helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions and I'll help out the best I can!
@@ToolAds Thank you for replying. So, would it be fair to say six drops distributed around the chain? Also, what size file to sharpen the tiny little cutters?
To be honest, in terms of the lubricant usage, I'll all depends on what type of wood you'll be cutting and how long you plan on using it for. If you notice the bar and chain getting hot, I would probably pause and add a little more. As far as the file size, a round 4mm file is what the owner's manual suggests.
what's your favorite power tool brand?
Not gonna lie man, I always used Makita & DeWalt working through highschool and college as a handyman. But with this channel I'm finding that there are tons of tool brands that offer great quality tools! At the moment I don't have a favorite
@@ToolAds i see i love dewalt
Yeah they are a great reliable brand!
@@ToolAds yes they are!!
waste of time to make this vidoe adn all this lazy copy paste description. the fucking tool isn't long runtime the fucking battery is first off. put the fucking cost in the title. numbers get more views from the algorithm. 9 yr old youtubers figured this out.
The channel is called ToolAds for a reason. Not ToolReveiws or ToolPrices. Pricing on power tools fluctuates with time so adding pricing to the video would date the video and have to be continuously updated. And the tool determines how efficiently the battery runs.
i got this weed wacker a month ago and it's amazing!!!
It's awesome!
Which price in Pakistan
55721.64 PKR
$88 dollars at Walmart Plus battery and charger another $70 With a total of $158 + a tax of another $10 Total of $180
@@0779risingsun the kit with the battery and charger included is for 119 on Walmart's website. Unfortunately it's out of stock at the moment. Buying everything individually can definitely bring the price up, so I get your point. I meant "budget" in comparison to other brands like DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Makita, etc... who's base price can run anywhere around 150$ tool only.
What was that In the bottle?
I used water to thin the paint because it was a water based paint.
I used water to thin the paint because it was a water based paint.
Thanks for posting this. I had an older Dremel 2 speed and misplaced it in my last move. Do you know if this Hyper Tough model would work with the Dremel 565 multi-purpose cutting kit? I recently got the Hart cordless rotary tool but the threads are too small to fit the 565 to use as a routing/cutting tool. Until I find the corded Dremel, I would like to get the HT if they are the same width and the threads under the spindle match.
Too be honest man, I'm not entirely sure if the housing unit will fit on the HyperTough tool. It might be a proprietary Dremel mount. In terms of bit sizes though, the HyperTough kit comes with 1/8, 3/32, & 1/16in collet sizes, so at least some of your bits might fit. Unfortunately my only recommendation would be to buy a hyper tough corded rotary tool (my kit was about $20) and test it out to see if it fits. If you buy it in store from Walmart, you could always return it if it doesn't fit. Walmart is pretty good with returns. I know this might not be the answer you were looking for, but hopefully it helps!
Awesome! You just convinced me to buy 😁
That's awesome! Let me know how it goes!

Don't get me wrong I love 12 volt tools no matter its from Milwaukee to DeWalt I love travels and I have that same impact driver and the drill equivalent of that but it is not compact back for being a brushed it is pretty powerful
I agree. While it's not the smallest impact on the market, it still packs a punch! I'd eventually like to get the latest brushless m12 model from Milwaukee and see how it compares to the brushed version
Can’t wait to use that Allen key
I figured the multi tool would be the highlight of the video but I guess I was wrong haha
Will it work on textured walls?
It does to a degree. I noticed with textured walls, sometimes I have to press it against the wall while the vacuum runs to help it seal. However I wouldn't recommend this for "aggressive" wall textures. It does work best on smooth surfaces. Hope this helps!
@@ToolAds Awesome, thanks brotha
@@Some_person. No worries man! Glad to help!
could you do the DeWalt XR 20 volt weed Wacker I just got it and I love it!!!
For sure! I'll add it to the list!
Just uploaded an unboxing of this! More videos on the way!
Just uploaded a full length video on this weed wacker! Let me know what you think!
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but it’s charged but every time I hit the trigger, it doesn’t work. Is there an on button somewhere?
You've probably tried this but is the trigger lock on? There are forward/reverse controls on the sides of the screwdriver that push either left or right. If they are not pressed in, the trigger will lock. If that doesn't work then the trigger lock might be stuck and I would consider returning it to Walmart, assuming that's where you bought it. It's very possible you could have the misfortune of getting a faulty tool. Walmart is usually really good with returns though. Hopefully that helps, keep me posted on if you find a solution or not!

I picked one up and love it, works fabulous
It does! I'm in the process of restoring a coffee table and it is taking off the old epoxy with no problem!
great for putting bike tires on i guess impact river is faster and has way more toruqe though
Impact drivers definitely have more torque. The low profile and compact design of this is definitely for tight spaces that an impact wouldn't fit in
I gotta be careful with mine tries to rip my hand off sometimes.
How So?
@ToolAds cause it's strong as crap sometimes lol which I'd good mabey its just mine it's a beast tho love it.
Haha yeah I haven't tested the full capabilities of it yet but I'm excited to do some work on my truck with it!
nice little guy good for precise work
It is! Definitely handy for working in areas larger tools can't fit in
RECIPROCATING SAW CAN DO EVERYTHING THIS TOOL CAN BUT BETTER AND ITS CHEAPER AND THE BLADES ARE CHEAPER FOR A RECIPROCATING SAW
They both definitely have their benefits. Me personally, I like using the chainsaw for thicker groups of branches because I don't have to worry about the end of a reciprocating blade jamming against another branch and kicking back. But they both definitely have their benefits!
@@ToolAds VERY TURE!
aww its a baby drill so cute
this tool looks pretty rugged and nice
It is! And it's super handy for tight spaces!
@@ToolAds do you ever use these tools or do you just make the videos and then sell them or never use them?
I keep the tools that I would use around the house or on our cars. I do have multiples for a few tools, one to keep at home, and one to keep in my truck for if I need to do some work at a friend or relative's house. There are some tools that I eventually end up gifting to people, just because I don't have the storage space. I'm currently saving up to build a new tool shed/video studio so I can hold and showcase more/bigger tools. But to answer your question, I haven't sold any. There are a few tools I've featured that I've borrowed from family, but I'd say 80% of them, I still own
@@ToolAds nice what kinda truck you have?

What do you mean by CPO? This was purchased from Home Depot at roughly $200
@@ToolAds thats pricy
It is at a higher price point, but the quality and durability of it is worth it. I'll have a full length video of this tool out soon!
Price ?
They are currently listed at 159.99 on the Greenworks website. If you use the link in this videos description, and search Pruner Saw, you will find it. If you use this video description's link, and decide to purchase, we will receive a small commission on the sale, which would be super helpful in helping our channel grow!
They’re a little late to the game though. The saw looks nice but they really missed years of opportunity when they didn’t introduce the consumers new products for some time
Yeah, I could definitely see difficulty in keeping up with demand created by powerhouses like Milwaukee and DeWalt. Porter Cable is definitely one of my go-to's for inexpensive and quality built tools though. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're interested. Worst case you could always return it. Tractor supply is usually really good with returns as long as the tool isn't ruined.
I went head to head with the Milwaukee and they cut the same speed and it's smaller and lighter than the Milwaukee, they have a brushless oscillating tool circular saw, recip saw and 3in cutoff tool which is way better than the Milwaukee and just as fast tye dewalt
That's interesting. I almost want to get the Milwaukee and DeWalt versions to see the results first hand. Thank you for the info!
Pointless and weird
Is there another particular tool or brand you'd like to see on the channel?
@@ToolAds Nah lol, just a hater. I’ll definitely subscribe though and be reasonable
Haha I appreciate all feedback. Its the only way I'll be able to improve content over time. Thanks for the sub!!
You are mistaken! It works great.
Mine stopped working,,, any suggestions
Does it sound like it's trying to pump water but nothing is coming out? If so, try placing the spray nozzle lower than the water intake to assist in gravity feeding water into the washer. Let it run for a few minutes and see if that works and water eventually comes out. To be honest, if the tool doesn't make any sound when it's turned on, and the trigger is pulled, I would try returning it to Walmart (assuming that's where you go it from). Or call Hart customer support. Hart is always very responsive and I'm sure they'd be able to point you in the right direction if all else fails.
I have no clue how you could be so chill about the paranormal that you would demand it to open and close the door like that. I’m glad that didn’t make it worse. Ps the DarkNight sent me
Haha thanks for stopping by!
I bout this same exact one and the red lock button doesn't work . I cant tighten the nut that secures the wheel. Any advice?
My only advice would be to try twisting the collet while pressing on the lock. Maybe the lock didn't fully engage. You probably already tried that but to be honest, sending it back and getting a new one might be your fastest and cheapest fix
@@ToolAds I have tried that already and it doesn't work
Not gonna lie man, you could have very well bought a faulty tool. You could try to take the tool apart and see if there are any misalignments with the button and the collet. But for the price point of the tool, I would probably just return it. If you got it from tractor supply, they're usually really good about returns. I wish I could be of more help in this instance.
I returned it to Tractor Supply and they replaced it. Thanks for the advice!
No worries man! Yeah if it was a really expensive tool that couldn't be returned, that's probably when I would disassemble it myself. But since Porter cable's tools run on the budget friendly side, and tractor supply is usually really easy with returns, I figured that would be your best bet. Glad I could help!

Don’t buy it’s horrible mine stopped after literally cutting 2 car springs with zero tension on them. Sanded my cutting blades lightly on speed 2 and let it cool down it just didn’t work again. Some bs.
You buy the corded one or the battery one? I heard the battery ones aren't as reliable as the corded ones. While I'll admit, some of the cutting wheels it came with are pretty brittle, it did it's job for me.
The high torque hammer drill is no joke either.
Yeah I was blown away by the build quality and performance of these Ridgid tools
THAT'S just the REGULAR RIDGID I have the 2400 INCH POUNDS 4 MODE and the SUBCOMPACT IMPACT WRENCH with 250 foot pounds RIDGID makes great tools for less then MILWAUKEE
@@THEBEARDEDTOOLGUY My mistake. I thought this was the four mode. I have the four mode, and you’re right, it’s a beast.
