those Grant Hill 1's that I bought a pair of were ankle sprains waiting to happen. the laces wouldn't hold up so big time minus points for the lace up design, even regular standard laces they seemed to just have a mind of their own and intended to split with grind. and those soles, they must've weighed more alone than what a human foot would weigh, that's not good if you expect to land from jumping without any worry of landing wrong. and i did sprain my ankle when i wore these in pickup. i never wore them again as basketball shoes.
