This is a wonderful book and the conversation(s) that you had with your buddy, Rob, added an even greater depth. I particularly liked the way you ended by speaking of moving from a place of enduring to one of embracing. Personally, I'm also wanting to discard the concept of tolerance as it relates to people. No one wants to be tolerated; we all want to be accepted. One of the most corrosive things we can do to one another is to convey the idea that in order to be accepted--or worse yet, tolerated--we must engage in self-editing. To ask someone to excise a part of themselves in exchange for our grace is awful, but we do it more often then we think.

What I love about this song is how both religious and non-religious friends of mine that I have sent this to during a time of need really can connect with the genuine feeling of being there for them this song portrays

Hey, brother Mike, I'm so happy you have a podcast! I will be listening on Spotify! I'm also glad you have a YT channel! 😊 I have been a fan of TAN since you guys started. I love every song that's been broadcast! You guys write and sing wonderful songs about real life! TAN is my go-to playlist. I was diagnosed with autism spectrum Aspergers as of 2015 at the age of 59. People think it's a mental disorder. Emotional pain comes with the territory. But, it's a neurological disorder. I'm high functional, but oh, the challenges I struggle with! It hurts to be misunderstood even by Christian brethren. I have days when I wonder how do I hold on in the moments of pain? As far as I can understand, this isn't a disorder that can be fixed. How I long to be in King Jesus's Holy Presence forever! Yet, I am determined that I will never seek permanent escape via suicide. I cannot inflict pain on the tender heart of our Savior. Please pray for me for endurance until the Rapture. Thank you so much!!! GBU!!!😊

There is no gray with God, but we all have terrible eyesight. This side of eternity, we all see a lot of gray and need to be humble and recognize that we could be wrong.

Don’t know why it has taken me 7 months to get to this gem, but thank you once again!
