Langley Secondary celebrated its 115th graduating class this week with its annual grad walk, where students take a stroll down memory lane, visiting with former teachers at their old elementary and middle schools, while also inspiring the next generation of learners.

The start of the modular installation at Richard Bulpitt Elementary has begun. In this 30 second video (sped up), you will see a modular being dropped. What a site to see for all the students, staff, and community! Thank you to the Ministry of Education and Child Care, vendors, contractors, partners, and District Facilities and Maintenance staff for helping make this project a reality.

Demonstration is in the elementary school’s name, but do you know why? We visited R.C. Garnett Demonstration School for Dem Day, which is a day in May for educators at the school to open their classrooms to share their learning with teachers and staff from across the District while students are in session. RCG teachers are also available for observation throughout the year.
Aldergrove Community Secondary School Plant Sale

With help from LEPS (Langley Evironmental Partners Society), ACSS students spent months learning about environmental science and how things grow. They then held their annual plant sale, with proceeds going to non-profits in the community.

The District's calendar survey and feedback received will form the core of the report that will be presented to the Board of Education for their consideration on March 12. Neither the Superintendent, senior staff or trustees have a predetermined outcome in mind.
i vote leave the calendar the way it is and i explained the options mentioned to my 13 year old and his vote was please don't change his summer time with his father who lives a distance away and time that he has taking up summer activities that he would not be able to participate in with a scattered holidays as such as offered to replace summer vacation - We vote leave good alone !
