hey - i wanted to say how much i loved watching this. i moved to bristol literally two months before your show, i work in music and your gig was the first one id seen in my new city. i found your music early last year and fell in love with it just in time for xin’s disappearance. it was my most listened album last year, and it’ll be my most listened this year too. i came to that gig with a long term partner who ended things with me at the weekend. you signed two tour posters for us, still got them up in my flat. i lost my job and my laptop broke on the same day as splitting from her, and then the day after i got knocked off the road by a car while cycling and broke my elbow. i’ve had a shit week, and your music cheers me up more than anything. it’s getting me through it and i mean that. i’ve had a hard year and all your songs - but especially listening through xin’s disappearance - just calms me down. i would say you’re my favourite artist and i hope i meet you again, like i said i work in music and i arrange charity gigs for climate change, so hopefully we’ll cross paths again, or at your next tour. this video just made me smile. please keep doing what you’re doing. you were phenomenal performing, it beat any expectation i had and your music was already on a pedestal for me. thank you for doing this out of love for the art.
