This is why if I were to enter USJ, I would wake up at 5am in the morning, and try to get in the line at somewhat at 6:30am. Sure, you'll have to wait for over 1 hour to enter the park, but it's much better than being so far behind in the line

If I'm not mistaken, there are some days where you have to get your timed entry ticket by a kiosk, and that kiosk is nearby a rollercoaster right?

It's definitely interesting that aside from Mario, Luigi and Peach meet and greets, the rest of the mascot meet and greets are very laidback, like America where you are allowed to have people take pics using your phone, unlike Japan where you have to pay 3000 yen per one freaking photo

After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that meeting mascots in Hollywood's Nintendo World is much better than Japan's one, while Japan, it is just straight-up a very awful experience. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, and in my opinion, a very awful experience, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, a staff to your right will always talk over you and barely give you a chance to speak to Mario, Luigi and Peach yourself, the mascots can't understand English, and you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures. While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies). When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them. When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.

Out of everyone, Toad is my favourite mascot to meet in USJ's Nintendo World. I first met him by helping a family take pictures for them, then after I helped, Toad went to hug me and wanted a picture with me. Over the 4th day of me visiting, I played hide and seek with him behind a pole. Toad immediately knew what I am going to do and we adapted this method of meeting each other 😊
