obviously, original song by ethel cain. i only made this version for fun after falling in love with her original track and thinking "this would do wonderfully as a shoegaze-esque rock song" and so i did it. i know it's been like, what, two years since i've uploaded that MCR edit that blew up? if you're here for more stuff like that, i have some ideas in mind, but i thought i'd upload this for fun for now.

I never realized how much of the recording at the beginning gets covered or drowned out by the music, like the official lyrics can’t transcribe all the words of the recording cus a little less than 1/4 of them are completely drowned out by music
These videos are so comforting. It feels like Gerard is holding you and singing you to sleep. Not trying to sound odd or creepy.
