Hello there… beat hunters :) here’s #5 from my guest series. It’s a special one by ‘ASTRIDA’ who has been shaking dance floors around Goa with her exploding yet unique style of sounds.
Born in London, DJ Astrida (aka Gagan) began her journey into the world of psytrance 13 years ago at a Hallucinogen rave in the capital city… and things have never been the same since. At some point, DJing psychedelic music very quickly became a mad obsession and she has been relentlessly playing thus far all over Goa and India, and more recently in the UK. DJ Astrida would describe her psytrance sets as “melodic, groovy, and positively uplifting journeys with a feminine flavour”. With a soft spot for Eastern melodies and female vocals, these sounds are often heard incorporated into the sets she weaves together. Her highly energetic vibe behind the decks - as well as her infectious positivity - is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step!

Een mooie plaat dame geef echt omm ken je het afdak in het midden van de stad bij de gracht die door het midden loopt in de Langestraat volgende week donderdag om acht uur zit ik onder dast afdak en zal er een half uur blijven zitten met een net pak aan en helemaal Australian kom gewoon langs lopen en maak een praatje met me bedenk ik ben jullie bezit pak mijn hand vast en neem me mee als je niet durft heb geld bij me om ergens wat te drinken zal dit iedere koopavond doen daarnaast zit een totentje op het dak met eenZwaan kijk maar de zwarte klok lijkt net een poppetje met een zwart pak aan zal dit een aantal weken doen loop gewoon langs kijken of ik je herken doe dat vier weken lang kijk maar wat je doet kunnen we wat drinken een ijsje halen of gewoon gelijk door dan moet ik mijn ogen dicht doen of een blindoekom laten we kijken of je durft dan heb ik een reden om de stad in te gaan haal dit er af mooie DarkPsytrance zie het wel de aankmende vier weken zal ik onder het dak op de stenen zitten die er in staan als tafeltjes Dee gewoon als jezelf!

.. I have 3 bulging disks and a twisted lower spine.. I suppose you can’t imagine how painful it is to only try and stretch my spine… this music helps push the threshold of pain! Does it make me strange/ weird or whatever label .. : I’m on the autistic spectrum with ADHD and complex-PTSD.. judge as much as you want! If it helps me stretch my spine and push the threshold of pain… well that’s subjectively speaking, positive for me.. with a little extra help 😮.. whatever..
