New Vanilla, Funky Vanilla, Old Vanilla, Middle Vanilla, Vanilla Bottom is what is shown on trailforks. Locals know it as New Vanilla, Funky Vanilla, Vanilla, Vanilla Extract, Lower Vanilla and finally Lower Lower Vanilla. But who is being picky?
Merritt's Scapegoat

One of the best blue trails I have ridden. If you are anywhere near Merritt with your bike, go and ride this trail! This was a bike trip I took back in May 2023. We are heading through again at the end of the month and I will get some measurements and redo the trail and make another Video!

Looking in my rearview mirror with another gopro strapped to my back. Quick edit and Shaun and I have a great video of the best trails to end a ride on in Cumberland BC. I uprooted a rock with my toe on six pack as I did not check my shock pressure before riding and it was at 90psi! Always check your pressures! Enjoy

An old favorite has been restored in the North! The downhill trail Rumble Tumble is alive and well and waiting to be ridden in Port Alice! The camera doesn't do this trail justice! It is steep with some tech and gnarr mixed in!

Looks fun. How long does it take to ride back to the vehicle from there? Got a bike on the way and I'm excited to start riding again. Been about 15 years :)
It’s great fun and a great trail to start back on after a 15 year break! What made you start biking again? Takes about 10-15 minutes to get back to the parking lot via Trestle and Crafty Butcher. 👍🏻
Nice - I also restarted 3 years ago, after a 20-year hiatus. (Kids, lol.) My passion for riding has been rekindled (also, was xc, now dh) as has my fiitness! 🤘
Looks awesome! I'm gonna go ride it soon! My first trip to Iron mountain sucked, missed most of the good stuff with the exception of berms...
We are riding it at the end of June. Next video will have distances of the jumps! Hope you get to ride Scapegoat because it is a great trail. Cheers

Hi getting into mb myself. You mentioned you’re going to need new brakes. Have you gone down multiple others and put good use in your existing brakes or is the downhill that hard on them. ? Also does quality of brakes have a big impact on your comment with your personal brakes?
Hello, I was half joking that I needed new brakes because the trail was so steep and I was constantly on the brakes. 😆 I get about 6 months out of my brake pads on avg when I am biking a lot.
@@GreenCowMTB-sx2nc haha better be safe than ask than to go up some crazy mountain and have the brakes go out. Haha Nice humor man I like it! Your very courageous for doing that also smart and patient for going and checking that trail ride first scoping for dangers and trying to get it at least familiarized. I’m up here in Montana so less than a mile and I’ll be hitting some trails. Just ordered a trek Roscoe 9 and I’ve been loving it so far.

Not too sure about these gap lengths, are you actually measuring them??
Tape measure and all. The thing is with a lot of jumps you can go short enough to clear the jump and also go long. I normally measure where I land. Which jumps are you thinking may be in question? I actually have video of me measuring the jumps and can make a short.
