attaching M9 bayonet made by Ontario knife Co usa to Mossberg 590A1 SPX - 9 SHOT it's normal for bayonets to have some play. it won't come off unless you take it off . perfectly fine and functional.

My SPX bayonet lug fit is MUCH TIGHTER than that! Id contact mossberg over that

Ghost ring sights are stupid I had them on 870 police mag several 590 a1s bead is way to go way faster target accusition with bead sights 10 times faster with bead sights lol ghost ring sights waste money
Yeah but a bead isn’t cool though. So there’s that.
Try a M7 bayonet. The M9 is too heavy and the 590a1 is a heavy gun allready. The old M9s have a shorter grip and they fit on the Mossberg. The Marine bayonet will also not work with your gun. The bayonet that will work are. The m7, old m9, all Extrema Ratio bayonet, the FKMD bayonet and all german Eickhorn Solingen Nato bayonet.
The bayonet came from the factory with the shotgun in the box. It does fit and is secure fit.
@@victorboone I also bought the SPX, my M9 has a lot of play and the cap of the magazine tube is too short to fit in the ring on the m9 handguard.
I have the Ontario OKC3S Khaki Brown USMC Bayonet 8" Blade and it fits closer on the Tube Cap but not as secure as I’d like. I may be starting a new collection.

I used a mnnthbx fender eliminator so it had to be modded. I thinkna tst eliminator might not have to be to make it work . Oh you need to cut a little piece off on the mud guard for the pipe to run up
