How to turn Echo dot into a speaker
This is my second go at this, and I thought I would share it. It’s a lot easier than it sounds. You will need about two hours to do this. Also, you will need side cutters, pliers, an assortment of small screwdrivers and torqx drivers, a soldering iron, a power drill or cordless drill, a jig saw, heat shrink, 10MM drill bit, a half round file, and a hot glue gun. The hole is 89MM across, but it was a bit tight, as the lip for the blue light is a bit wider than the metal frame of the dot. It needs to be tight otherwise you will have to glue it in or it will keep falling out if turned sideways or upside down.
This is totally reversible if you keep all the bits and use hot glue. Obviously the speaker will suffer as you cut a big ass hole in it!
There is a little distortion at higher volumes, but to be honest, I don’t have it that loud. It gives a nice deeper sound to the dot.
Hope this helps someone, as I could not find anything like this on the inter web!

Taking the XS650 to the MOT station!

MY first proper ride(if going round the block twice doesn't count as a first ride!) to my nearest M.O.T Centre to get my bike certified to be used on the road! It's about 9 miles away so I was a bit nervous for the shakedown! Seems nothing has fallen off yet!!!

Just a quick video of how to run Dyna beads into a tubed rear tyre of my motorcycle. The valve stem has been removed to speed up the beads running into the tube.

how to buy
Sorry, not selling these, but this one was sold to a lucky buyer!
Superb!
😘😘😘😘
Excuse me, is it made with tin solder?
Yes, biscuit tins, removed the paint, and then soldered with lead, the ones you use for soldering electronics and wires.
@@airwolfie100 Well thank you, your work is very nice and interesting ... Greetings
Arácnido it was fun building it

Wow that is insane 😲. Wow
Thanks Udi!
Excellent work, did you take the measurements from somewhere or did you do it with the 1/10 base? If so, could you give me the plans? I would like to do a project like that.
Dude to be honest, I don’t remember! That was 8 years ago! Now sold as well sadly. If I had to do it again, I found a picture with dimensions and I just divided them by10! Took ages to find the pic. I used to have the templates for the body, but I do not know where they are now unfortunately. If I did, I would share of course!😁
hello, great congratulations I'm doing 1:10 The soldering cup keeps it finished, I will share

Dude, I checked out your scratch-built MB. You are AWESOME! Would be cool if you show HOW you do the linkages. Then you could be the next teacher that everyone would follow for advice. Joe <><
Wow and WOW!!! Totally AWESOME!!! As the owner of two 1946 Willys CJ2A and a 1950 Willys Wagon, I must say you have EXCELLENT fabrication skills. Thank you for sharing. Joe <><
Thanks joe! Unfortunately not in my possession anymore. Loved it while I had it!

How to make mini jeep bodyparts step up by step
Hi deepak, I made a cardboard template, as in the video. Then I used this to cut the tin and soldered it together with electrical solder, got to sand the parts down so they nice and clean though otherwise it won’t work. Also, the soldering iron needs to be adjustable and go up to 100W, you need a lot of heat to make it work.
Awesomeness some skills there. Nice work indeed matey!👍
hola me dirias donde bajo la plantilla
Grate work
Tu sei un genio, amico!!
If you want to, I suggest making the headlights have rims around them and come out further that the grille to be a little more realistic buts it's fine how you have it. Now I've seen a few picture of the M38's lights sinking into the grille, but most of them popping out. I've never seen a 2A's headlights sink in like that, but again it's fine :)
I'm sorry, I stand corrected, it looks like you have got the dash right, There seems to be slightly different versions of the 2A jeep. I thought you were making an M38 until I saw the square windshield which belongs to the 2A that's why I said the dash was incorrect.
Wow, this is very amazing, but I have to say that the dashboard has aspects of the civilian version, which it shouldn't, but it is still nicly done!
Very impressive and inspiring. I meed to get mine finnished up. Thumbs-Up subscribed.
Nice mechanical work
👍👏💪
Parabéns é um gênio!
