I was told the man who abused and physically hurt my little boy would get 6 - 10 yrs for aggravated child battery and be on violent youth offender registry for 10 yrs. He ended up getting a lousy 2 yrs of probation bc the judge thought charges were too much for someone who hadn't been caught and charged hurting other kids before. I know this wasn't that son of a bitch's first time. He had the fucking audacity to do it in our own home and we caught it on camera for fucks sake. what is wrong with our goddamn "justice" system. Before the 2 years was up he was arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful restraint with a weapon then he only got 4 years and he got to serve two of those on house arrest his last year he is finally placed in a minimum security fucking correctional facility. I bet he's out before that year is even up free to harm again and again.

They can't even take care of themselves and then they have dogs they can't properly care for, which is downright cruel to the dogs. With poor judgment and poor decisions like these, it's no wonder some people become homeless.
