We’re working to create a brighter future for Africa’s wildlife. We think the best way to do this is by empowering people to gain first-hand experience of wildlife conservation, because the better we understand Africa’s wildlife, communities and landscapes, the better equipped we are to help them thrive.
African Conservation Experience establishes, maintains and supports conservation projects in southern Africa. Projects are selected on the basis of real conservation value, the genuine wildlife experience that they are able to provide to enthusiastic volunteers, and their contribution to the local community and environment.

I am a nature conservanist student. AT THE UNIVERSITY OF mphumalanga I would love to volonteer to one of the game activities during school holiday/ december/June.

We work with a wide range of different wildlife conservation projects in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Some projects involve working in wildlife care and rehabilitation centres whereas others focus on wildlife research and management work. We even work with a veterinary project and a marine conservation project meaning that there is something for everybody! We also offer several wildlife adventure and learning experiences. Can you work here to as a full job instead of a volunteer? If so what are the requirements and open job positions?
White muscle disease is due to selenium and vitamin E deficiency not necessarily stress and capture drugs unless the used drugs have an effect on selenium and vitamin E all in all anaesthetic myopathy is more of a tentative than white muscle disease.
Many thanks for your insightful comments Sanford. You are totally correct as regards the causes of white muscle disease. The veterinarian that was filmed in this video was in fact referring specifically to capture myopathy. Not being a native english speaker is, we believe, the reason for the confusion. Thank you for raising this.
My goal for this week is to finish my application :) I’m so excited! I’m hoping to spend at least 2 months with ACE next summer !
