Antidotum Airshow 2020 (Aviation Short Movie)
The Leszno Antidotum Airshow 2021 edition is a wrap! The event was once again a tremendous success by the organisers. Everybody was astounded by the scale of the show and the variety of displayed aircrafts ranging from paragliders, through the F-16 fighter jet and a C-130 Hercules of the Polish Airforce, to helicopters like the Super Puma of the Swiss Airforce.
Unfortunately, not everyone made it back home. I was really sorry to hear the T-28 Trojan of the Flying Bulls display team, which we saw admired the day before, has crashed while flying back to its home airport - Hangar 7, Salzburg, Austria. Shortly after, the death of the pilot was confirmed. Next morning The Flying Bulls announced the loss of a great aviator - Rainer Steinberger, also known as Cpt. Bavaria.
I know that this video is not up to my usual standards, but there's a reason for it:
As a big fan of The Flying Bulls, this information really hit me hard. To honour Rainer Steinberger, I decided to quickly finish up a scrapped, half way done movie from the Leszno Antidotum Airshow 2020 edition, where the The Flying Bulls T-28 Trojan was the highlight of that show.

I grew up with a father working as a pilot and he recently retired. He is someone I’ve been looking up to my entire life. Great character, family man, a people person and a good captain. He was often away up to 6 days a week, but when he came home he took us kids to football practice, events and always spent each moment with us and his family. As an adult these values are strong in me, and I’m extremely proud of him. I do regret not chasing my dream more of flying. I find planes fascinating, both the marvel of engineering and how it brings the world together. The professionalism of each role that goes into the aviation field.

My father was a captain and pilot for SAS. He retired early last year. He started flying training planes in the US, then Lockheed P-3 Orion for the army, he became a commercial pilot, then was promoted to Captain. He flew Boeing 737 for majority of his life until he was retired. My biggest childhood memory was that he would always take the time bringing me and my siblings to sport practise regardless of how tired he was when coming home. He spent many days away working. He always provided for his family, always being there as a father. One day I hope to make him as proud as I am of him. Thanks for the beautiful video :)

Thank you for asking! I'm currently at the very end of my ATPL exams, hoping to pass the whole thing next month. After the exams looking forward to the most pleasurable thing left. Flying. I'm really hoping to have some more time in the near future top create some new videos from my hours building flying.

Hol up, are there more places to spot from at the Chopin airport? Because I've only been to the viewing terrace (taras widokowy) :/
Unfortunately, most spotting places have been removed over the past few years. Try the small hill next to the airport fire brigade or the "spotter's hill" at Wykusz street
