Hello sir , l have question about this model , especially, in translating of literary texts. Julianne House said that literary texts should be translated overtly ,however, l find that isn't completely true. While she put cultural filtering one of the overt errors in her model " why did she agree with Cateford (1965) about dialect text and have been included within the overt translation? 😅 Does the change of dialect text of the source language text inside the target language text consider cultural filtering or not?

للعلم القانون العام هو نفسه في الانظمة القانونية كلها بمعنى القانون المرتبط بالحق العام مثلا.

لا حاجة للبلاغة في الترجمة الفورية الا في حال لجأ المتحدث الاصلي اليها وهذه الحالة نادرة في هذا المجال.
السلام عليكم دكتور احمد يبدو ان الترجمة الأفضل لـ common law هو القانون الانجليزي وليس "القانون العام" وذلك لازالة اللبس مع اختصاص القانون العام (Public law) الذي يدرس في بقية الانظمة القانونية التي تفرق بين القانون العام (علاقة الدولة بالمواطن) والقانون الخاص(علاقة المواطن بالمواطن) (private law) كالقانون الفرنسي والقوانين العربية المتأثرة بها مثلما عليه الامر في تونس. هذا وانتم ادرى بذلك.
كلامك صحيح بشان اللبس. للعلم فان قاموس الفاروقي يقول القانون العام في انجلترا وفي الولايات المتحدة.

Public is the same as common in meaning in English law.
You should not always match the French with the English simply because sometimes the meaning of certain words in these two languages appears to be similar but it is not so. Example, the word regard in English and French.
