This is a song I'll have to listen to a few more times before I can put my feelings into words on the work itself, but I can say this: I've been following you (not on this account) since 2017-ish, back when you were still making Geometry Dash levels alongside music. I stopped playing around 2018 or so, and stopped listening to your music a little while later. I know that even back then, your art meant a lot to me. The point of that isn't that it's *me* specifically that your art meant (and means) a lot to, it's that your art just means a lot, in general. I recently remembered that you made music, and it's really nice to see you're still here and making music, for Deemo even! I think it's amazing that even after years of not hearing any of your music, it's still powerful and impactful enough to make me tear up while listening. Thank you Miyolophone, and thank you to bkbk_tomoko for your amazing vocals! I'm going to listen back through the rest of your music, to see what I've missed in all this time.

this was pretty cool! when this happens to me i usually tilt my head to one side and scrunch my eyebrows up a little. gives off the look of being inquisitive without actually being obligated to answer and if someone asks me why i just did that i can say some hair got in my eyes

never heard of DEEMO before but i'm about to start playing just cuz of this LOL. this is a whole experience because it's not just the song that goes hard, it's also the video, the lyrics, the visuals, even how you've marketed it on twitter (here thru the amazing tomoko and friends btw!!) at first listen i thought maybe it wouldn't be my cup of tea because the lyrics at face value seem kind of specific, but the imagery you paint is so vivid and the more i think about it, the more i ask myself: is this song from the person on the pedestal, or looking up at it, or both, or are they the same? and i don't have an answer yet and i love that also i love how the verses lead into the chorus with the driving beat, and yet there's still room at the end for the ultimate buildup ... so so so so good AAAAAAAA you have a new fan!! congrats on the release, hope you and tomoko rest well after your hard work. i'm looking forward to more already :)

I wanna share a little bit about my interpretation of this song and what it means to me. I don't want to put too much of my own situation in this, so I'll speak more broadly and you can take it as you wish. In the first line of the description, Miyo says the song is about being put on a pedestal, which is what my interpretation is based on as well. But going a level deeper, I want to look at some of the symbols and imagery here. The moon represents multiple things for Artemis, in my opinion. It's a sign of how long she's been on this hunt, it's a beacon for her goals, it's something so looming that once she actually faces it, it freezes her. But also in a way, it represents herself. Something bright and shining for all to see and to look to, to wish upon, to pray towards. But it never asked to be that. It just *is*. She sees all that she is and all that she's searching for in the moon. If you've ever grown up with "helicopter" or "overly-supportive" parents, I think you know what it's like to be Artemis. You're being relied upon to put all of your talents to good use, to do what you've been "made" to do, without ever really stopping to think if this is what you wanted in the first place. You never asked to be put on the pedestal you find yourself on. So, you work alone, you hunt not for others, but for yourself. You search for yourself, for your own reward, for something other than.. this. In doing so, it becomes hard to know when that hunt is finally over, when its time to drop the bow. In doing so, you push everyone else away. Your world becomes full of ghosts, memories, distant, forgotten relationships -- but that's what you wanted, isn't it? It isn't the fault of Artemis, or us, that we ended up this way. Anyone with that much pressure put on them would do the same. But it takes self-awareness to see that, even if we couldn't help it, that's where we are now. It doesn't mean we have to go back and try and meet those expectations, but we can certainly let others in, from time to time. Sorry if this all comes across scatter-brainy, I've been listening to this song a lot already, and I just wanted to put some of my thoughts out there, because it instantly resonated with me. And it's also just an incredible song. 💖🌑
