What a gross conversation. I could not even finish watching it, it was so putrid. Howard Stern is repulsive and frankly, the conversation on both ends results in repulsiveness and disappointment in the singer who should not have engaged with such a fool.

The R&B station that played their song "I Can't Go For That" announced them as "Oates and Hall". I wasn't sure if it was the same as the duo because they were white but it sounded like them for sure. Later when the station played the entire album at midnight they were again referred to as "Oates and Hall".

Oates raspy voice and falsetto is such a perfect compliment to Darryls power house vocals....They balance each other perfectly

To be honest Hall had the voice but Oats wrote the better somgs. Out of Touch is my favourite of the group but without doubt it took both of them to be as legendary as they are!!

I was at this show sitting in the front row and pounding my hand on the stage! I became such a big fan. And I got to chat a while with my old bandmate Eric Carmen who was also in the audience.
