Having grown up in a former British colony, there are two points to make. The first is that by the time we gained independence, this was one of the finest countries in the world in which to live. The rest is best attributed to the meeting of cultures with very different understandings of property and personal rights, and a mutual willingness to use violence to sort out social conflict.

A very poor interviewer. The interviewer, Jonathon, is not neutral. He is not listening, he is not encouraging Nigel to expound. He is not even simple asking challenging questions. He is making his own argument , based on his own assumptions and misunderstandings, and thinking that he can speak on behalf of “colonised peoples”. He cannot, and doing so is pretty arrogant. The claim that brutal, oppression and violence is preferable to a level of peace and security if the brutality is inflicted by people of the “right” race is to dehumanise the oppressed by assuming that Jonathon can make their choices for them. It’s exactly the same neo-colonialist attitude that HE knows better what people want, than they do. The assumption that widows would rather burn than have a foreigner decree that it won’t happen. The assumption - by people who have never felt the threat of slavery - that people in the third world would rather see their children enslaved by others of the same ethnicity, than see them freed by a foreigner. It’s the same as arguing that German Jews would rather be in Auschwitz, than being freed by Britons and American, because the Nazi regime was German.

Someone I know and have disagreed with for years, was shocked by the left's behaviour post Oct 7th. Nothing says you failed at biology as much as comparing animals whose sex is determined by unchangeable chromosomes with those whose sex is based on how hot it was when they hatched. While some fish do have something akin to the XX/XY system a lot of them dont which is why they are capable to switching their sex. Theres also no spectrum. The fish turn female or male and thats it. You go from one binary side to another. Yes there are hermaphroditic species such as snails or plants which would be both, but theres no variation in it. You can have one type of gonad or both. Or even none but that would be an error. As for intersex, that can have a variation (in the sense of how male and female traits are distributed) but similar to how humans can have a variable number of fingers we all know the default norm is five on each hand. Its a disorder that shouldnt be. We can acknowledge it exists and respect people with it but also dont forget that intersex people (if they even can) can only produce either egg or sperm, not both (unless theres maybe a rare exceptional case) Then they mention animals that mimic or appear like the opposite sex in species that exhibit dimorphism. However consider that humans also have conditions like that? Women who have beards and men with gynecomastia exist due to hormonal issues, but they still live as their birth sex and arent trans because of it. Or even consider men and women that crossdress, or drag queens, or people like butch lesbians who are still women but they way they dress makes it easy to confuse them for men. Did we suddenly forget that people like that exist? Seahorses are the most misunderstood ones of these. In reality the FEMALE lays the eggs inside the male and then they get fertilized. Instead of having the eggs inside the female or laying them out free in the ocean it just seemed more safe to do it like that Hyenas have a large clitoris. You know who has a clitoris? Women. You know what happens to women that go on testosterone? Clit grows big. In a way its like that but the hyenas just naturally do it. If anything you can compare them to female bodybuilders on steroids. Not trans. Not a new sex. Being capable of asexual reproduction doesnt really remove the fact that they have a biological sex. These animals are not trans and trans humans are not sequential hermaphrodites. Intersex is not the same as trans, the former are cytologically/genetically distinct individuals. If you wish to justify a hypothesis do or fund the actual research to validate or refute the hypothesis. do not try to keyhole existing entities into an a priori assumption. If you want to establish a biological basis, prove or fund research to evaluate that claim. We seem to be diminishing the meaning of “evidential proof”, it is not dependent upon opinion. If you want to demonstrate something in higher apes do the analysis at least in the same class, some of these comparison’s aren’t even in the same phylum! Additionally the proposal that a male virgin birth in humans, including Jesus,Ra, Horus, Mithras etc, can occur from a human female mother demonstrates that the process of parthenogenesis is poorly understood. Humans are not analogous to Komodo dragons. In humans there is no Y chromosome in the normal mother, furthermore the adult male has no potential to develop the relative necessary organs, and the offspring would be a product of the female, thus the offspring of parthenogenesis in humans would by necessity be female! Finally, Clone implies identity a male is not a clone of a female, thus the initial supposition that the statement seeks to prove is not even realistic to begin with and a human female cannot be equated with an exotic reptile !!
