Ive followed the tutorial to the letter, but still I have visible transition between photos. In fact you can see on some the photos fade into the next one. Dont understand why as it only happens on some of them. Any ideas as to why?

What is the purpose of the transparent image in the back?
when using an image in Canva... sometimes (a lot of times)... the image will automatically attach to the background... by putting something behind it... that will keep it from attaching leaving the image to be freely moved around

@@digitalartwithcanva I wanted to tell you that the Choppy Crop app makes it easier to cut out part of the envelope, it's even and faster! It's just that it's always hard for me to erase evenly, there are some jagged edges, and the app solved that problem!😊😊😊

wait, can it work for videos?? for some reason when I try for videos it mostly just fades to the closer image. Is there any different method for that? 😁

I don't get that pop-up menu when I click. The only editing I can see is the scissors on top of the page that say edit. What you demonstrate here is exactly what I'm looking for but I cannot recreate it. I"m working on a MacBook air and I have canva pro.
Hrmmm interesting... so ensure that the page at the bottom that the video is on is highlighted purple (if you only see numbers and not time... there is a button at the bottom left that says "duration"... click that) .... on the page you want to split... right click on the line with the arrow above (where you paused the video to split)
@@digitalartwithcanva I found the issue. I thought I had set up the "right click" on the right corner of my track pad, but it was set up on the left. Problem solved! Thanks for getting back to me!

@digitalartwithcanva I didn't go to the school with the Warriors mascot (lived in a different area), but my kids might when they're old enough. Nice text effect though! It'd be a neat way to shorten something like a business logo.

I got the desire output (Zoom effect) by you method, thanks for that but I don't understand why you dublicate the image, decrease size, set transparency to zero and group them. what is the purpose of that, I do not do that but still got the same zoom effect?
it is a work around to keep the image you are zooming from automatically attaching to the background (which is a pain)

One can also right-click on the project. The option to open on a new tab will show up (simpler, from my perspective, than clicking the 3 dots). Also, do you know why this change happened? I adore Canva, but it feels like it was a step backwards without knowing the reason for this change. Thank you.
Thank you for that awesome tip!!!! As to the change it was supposed to make Canva easier but it isn't the case it added more steps to the process of doing some things and the pop out menus that get in the way (just to name a few) a lot of people were very unhappy when the 1st roll out happened but it seems like they haven't taken any feedback into fixing some of the biggest issues people were complaining about with the initial rollout of the glow up
The funny part is that the glow didn't change anything on my Canva. My question is: do I have to do anything for the glow up to take effect? Thank you!
I did the glow up when it first came out and you had to do a little trick to get it... you had to click the "for you" on the home page 7 times for it to come up, but with this next roll out I dont know if they did anything different

This is the most helpful tutorial on Canva I have found. You got right to the point! Do you have any vids on green screen?
I dont have much experience with green screen... but Canva doesnt do well or at all removing the green to use the video... the only thing I have seen it work on is a single person with a green screen behind them and it removed the green fine

Thanks for another great tutorial. I believe reason image is blurry from remove.bg is because it reduced image size on free account.
I never understand the logic behind erasing then restoring the background.
it is just a way to create what is called a "mask" or a "clipping mask"
